Someone posted Bama game stats

You said

quote:

So this is your barometer?

And had a laughing emoji.

I took That to mean you thought Bama being the Barometer was laughable.

I pointed out Bama is the standard and the only barometer worth having.

You challenged my reading comprehension for some reason even though You made your arguement was a rhetorical question and a fricking emoji.

So did I miss Something?

Can you tell me why Bama shouldn’t be the Barometer?

If we had gotten Sterlin Gilbert, Kendall Briles, or Mike Yurcich, I would have been penciling this team in as a dark horse playoff contender. I don't know what to expect from Ensminger or his experiment.

I am Not gonna argue with you really. I understand Your point I just Disagree.

I am Not gonna bash your style because frankly it’s probably a much more zen way of life.

By if you aren’t gonna get worked up over a coach sucking at his job, why post here?

And I dont Just mean that specifically, but if you are gonna just say “what will be will be” what’s the appeal of this website?

The only one melting is you. You're being asked reasonable questions and you're throwing your little fits as you always do.

You are literally the only person that calls him that. Do you actually call him that in person?

Is O really that damn hard to get along with? I get Canada was probably a jackass, but SE was an overreaction hire. I'm sure there are 50 OCs who can get along with a reasonable HC AND actually have a recent history of producing good offenses.

But I'm over this SLINGER bullshite to be honest, time to see what he can do.

All of His, Os, and Rees marbles are on the table. Better be good

Right but is Steve the ONLY OC that fits that bill? O can’t get along with anyone else?

It did not help Ditka and the Bears when Buddy left.

Idk if that’s the example you want to use
To justify firing Canada and hiring a guy the HC likes.

I'm sure this is not a surprise, but O must be a egotistical maniac. Even his truest supporters know it takes a special friend to be able to work for O

Holy shite. So if he isn't bashing O and E he has no reason to post. That's really your mentality. I'm actually almost speechless, it's so utterly ridiculous. Real question are you either on drugs or are you off your meds?

Slinger missed the early season creampuffs.

You mean teams like Wisconsin who finished the year with the #7 ranked defense in college football. Or Auburn, who finished #28. Or Jacksonville State, who although is a FCS team, finished the season as the #6 ranked team in the FCS. Mississippi State's defense was a train wreck, but they still finished ranked #110. Which was higher then Ole Miss and Missouri.

So "Slinger beat the hell out of Arkansas, who had the #75 ranked defense. A&M who had the #90 ranked defense. Ole Miss. who had the #111 ranked defense and Missouri who finished the year ranked #118.

He did beat Southern Miss. who finished at 15th in total defense, and Louisville, who was 14th at the end of the year, but limped into the bowl game after losing the last two games of the regular season, giving up 36 points to Houston, and 41 points to Kentucky.

Yep ree, you're right. Sliger faced a real gauntlet of defensive powerhouse's in 2016.

hope Ems has been some secret and overlooked savant this whole time,

HE IS NOT as genius or savant, doesn't need to be. He is just a man who has been in the college football business for a long time who has enough intelligence and common sense to install and run a good modern college offense. We are done with looking for savants because most of them, like Canada, turn out to be the idiot type savant. It's not that complicated (for a reasonably intelligent person who has been around the game). No reason to over think it.

Orgeron got mad at him when he wouldn’t let him call all the offensive plays. Orgeron fired him.

in all honesty, that was a good thing. By game 3 or 4 of the season it had become fairly obvious that someone needed to step in. Most every one on the rant was even saying it at the time. Whether the fan base pushed O to do it or he had just seen enough, It had become obvious that Canada need to be reigned in just for the good of the team. Yes O made a mistake in hiring the "hot shot of the moment OC" Canada, the 'bigtime " hire the "only the best" that everyone wanted. It fairly quickly appeared to be a mistake. He tried to let him run the show but you can only take so much.

The problem is that O is not smart enough to do that.

O is plenty smart enough and smarter than MJ will ever be. 2nd- We haven't had an OC in 9 years so having a problem with the current OC is no big deal

They used to be. At least until the low-I.Q. portion of our fan base like you took over with O. Now teams like Missouri and Troy are apparently our measuring sticks. Geaux!

And people wonder why we are skeptical and have little faith in Orgeron.
If you are a no nonsense, win at all cost, straight forward coach who plans to succeed, how can you not go out and find one proven OC?
Are people really that stupid they believe Ensminger was his first and best choice?

I would just like a HC coach who does what he says he’s gonna do and doesn’t try to cover it up with more lies like Ensminger has always been the best available OC.

I give him zero room for excuses for this exact reason. He should win every single game. No reason not to compete against everyone on our schedule.

hey, man, O agrees with you. he's made his decision and he knows what's expected. if it doesn't work, he knows he's for the chopping block.

let it play.

He didn't need to be smart, he saw the same thing everyone on the rant saw, that the players were having trouble with all the excessive pre snap motion that early in the season as they just hadn't caught on to it yet and it needed to be dumbed down, at least for the time being. He was smart enough to relay this to the thin skinned overly sensitive Canada who acted out like an angry 4 year old.

Way to read all the entire post.

I’m don’t get the appeal
About the Tiger Rant to people who are just preaching the “there’s
Not point in complaining”, “just wait and see” and “whatever will happen will happen”

That’s all fine, but what do you get out of a website made for people to rant about things? Why not just wait and see.
