Reminder that Kade is used to pitching at night. The effect on both pitchers should be similar
Kade is also from Madisonville/Slidell area. Born and bred in devil's heat and humidity.

My in-laws are from WV and we go often in summer . Closer to Charleston than Morgantown but about same elevation. It feels like the Deep South w all the skeeters, heat and humidity.
The key is that the Mid and Upper South have been fairly mild and rainy up until the last week or so. I’m in the Memphis area and this week is the first run of heat with humidity that we’ve gotten, and we are well south of West VA.
The point is that our players have faced more warm and humid weather recently and should be more conditioned to it, especially for Game 1.

it's baseball, not football. Heat is irrelevant.

It’s going to be 105-108 heat index on the field for most of the game. You can bet your arse it’s going to be relevant.

Good grief, man.

Seriously???
I've been on this earth for 61 years and have closely followed sports since I was a young kid, and I've NEVER heard a "heat" concern in baseball.
In football? Of course. That's a real thing.
But baseball?

It's not the heat, it's the stupidity.

Doing anything outside at all is harder when it’s 100 frickin degrees man.

I lived in Beckley. (An hour from Charleston) and it feels nothing like the sourh. The highest temp in gets in the summer is about 87 and the humidity and mosquitoes are not nearly as bad as the south.

Its not the sport, its the fact they don't experience it while playing that sport, or walking across campus. You put my arse in Minnesota in January for a few hours and it is going to affect my mental state moreso than some dude that is used to it.
