Does anyone know how Mike gets into that part of his habitat? Does he have free access to go inside that cage area and then go back out when he is ready? Is that where he goes in everyday to eat?

Mike is let out in the morning and let back into his night cage in the evening...depending on weather conditions, he could be held in his night cage...

yes he is fed in his night cage...

read the article about how his tumor was discovered, they give a pretty decent description...

Hats off t0 the LSU Vet school. An Asplundh truck drove into my driveway one day and ran over my best rabbit dog. She was really smashed up with multiple broken bones and intestines were visible. She ended up at the LSU Vet school (at Asplundh's expense) for several weeks and they would call and give me updates. When I got her home she had multiple metal plates, screws, and what not all through her body. She was still my best rabbit dog for several years after. From then on she ran with her hind legs cocked to one side and her voice was a little higher pitched. Great job by the LSU Vets!

LSU vet school is one of the best. Some renowned doctors known throughout the world for their contributions to veterinary medicine have come from or are/were part of the vet school.

I hope they come up with something down the road to be able to help Mike again like did a week back. Hope it's not one radiation treatment and nothing else after that. Keeping fingers crossed. Makes me sick to think about it especially when you see those pictures with his caretakers.

I just hope he doesn't suffer a lot of pain.

No way they would let that happen.

No doubt. He'll be euthanized if/when it gets to that point. And that'll be a sad day for all of us for sure.
