Or maybe because of O-line transfers after the coaching change in offseason. Just a guess.

Miles also took us to a 10-1 record and a Western division title in his first year. It didn't end as planned, but a 10-1 record in his first season was pretty impressive. That sealed his job for the next 11 years. We have to give O a chance. It may not look to par now(and i'm as frustrated as anyone else here) but they have it in them to turn it around, just have to limit penalties and strengthen the line.

It's whether or not the major TAF contributors & corporate sponsors continue to support the program.

Winning = Funding
Losing = No Funding

07- 12-2, Won the whole fuching thing

agreed. his first 3 were his best 3. no doubt

Orgeron is unqualified to be a HC, a great D Line coach and supposedly great recruiter, not a HC.

He was a "great recruiter" as a DL coach recruiting for Jimmy Johnson, Pete Carroll, and Les Miles.

Convincing blue-chippers to come and play for a program HE runs?

Have you seen the 3-stars piling up in this year's recruiting class?

You can believe and say and type all you want but if O goes 0-8 or 1-7 in conference play this year. He's gone and I don't care what the buyout is because to not cut bait at that point will set this program way back for at least 5 to 7 years,

It is realistic now. Fire Alleva, hire a new AD, and let him do a real search for a coach. All the while watch O fold under pressure.

No. It's not realistic to want him fired. It's his first full season and it was the first road game in the sec. We had alot of young freshman and sophmore playing alot and we have had injuries on our lines on both sides of the ball that have fricked us a little. Chill out, let's put the pads on, bust our arse and get ready to play this weekend. That was not LSU football last saturday, idk what that was but it is an anomaly. Let's fricking get ready and play tiger football and fix our mistakes bc there were plenty of them and everyone on the team and coaching staff was involved. You pussies can throw in the towel but I know we are wa better than we played on Saturday and expect major improvements. We have talent, alot of young talent, but they will improve. I'm ready to watch the tigers grow into the team they have the talent to be. So shut the frick up with the bitching and lets go.

Second, if anything else, Aleva learned you don't fire the head coach unless you've got someone better and are able to sign him.

What coach on earth is not better than O? Somebody will sign.

If the State shite show performance is any indicator of what the next 3 seasons will look like, I don't want any part of it. Call me names whatever you need to do, but the program should not be in this situation. It was easily avoided but i hate to say the good ole boy Louisiana politics reared it's ugly head into the program once again. If O doesn't make a 360 and I mean fast, He will get fired at the latest next season. So now I have to deal with the shite show for 2 more seasons because of piss poor strategic decisions by the idiots that run the program and the LSU BOS rubber stamping this. They sure are testing my loyalty.

If we had the other half of the stud team who was running our program we would have a few 5 stars and and more 4 stars this is not on coach O but the people who put him in this awkward position !

It's not realistic due to the buyout.

What is realistic is that he was never truly qualified and how shockingly dumb his buyout is.

There would have been more 4 and 5 stars if we still had the other half of our recruiting team !

Not at all. Not enough information, to date; too many rags to riches stories in football (and life, gen). Any honest risk-reward calculation at this point would favor letting things play out. Hope to stay in the West race and finish top 10, till the end. We'll see. Geaux Tigers!

Stop it, how bout getting behind the man.

Or let's fire him and get Hall Mummy because he would be the only one that would take this crummy job. With the prick fan base.

Fully agree - It 's unrealistic this year thanks to that moronic AD and the $12M buyout, but next year is a different situation.

Doesn't matter. They will not be happy till it's all gone, then cry and wonder what happened.

Bash the school,administration, coaches, and players thinking that's going to help or turn the program around.
