how many think it's realistic to be talking about firing the coach?

think about it. you're losing your grip. he's got 3 years and you might as well resign yourself to it.

now, if nick's agent calls and says nick wants to come back, then you might get Eaux fired. otherwise, do what you need to do to keep from harming yourself.

I'll bet my life he doesn't have 3 years if we keep seeing what we saw Saturday night.

He won't make it 2 full years if that continues.

well given the circumstances surrounding his hiring, its very realistic....or should be at least.

Yea it's not realistic. He definitely has 2 years. We bit off a lot in the miles payout, which made this hire all the more important. O has dug himself a hole already.

Correct....three year contract is a fairly short leash in the first place, or sure seems like it.

Orgeron is unqualified to be a HC, a great D Line coach and supposedly great recruiter, not a HC.

Would rather face the embarrassment now, fire him, eat the buyout, than watch the program descend to Orgeron era Ole Miss football

that leash will be shorter than three years without improvement.

If you give Miles 11 years you have to give any new HC 3 years.

I don't think 3 years is a given. Maybe two but honestly depends on what we see rest of the year.

It's not realistic at all. The last thing Alleva wants is the pressure of another football hire. Plus the buyout and it just won't happen for a while

This team may go 6-6 this year... that's bad enough, however a 6-6 record with all of those losses looking like they did Saturday night, then I am all for getting rid of him....

Alleva will give his guy every chance to succeed. If they don't fire Alleva, Coach O may be here longer than he should.

one thing ive learned in the last decade is never underestimate the incompetence of Joe Alleva and FKing.

Rantards want to fire the coaches after every single loss.

Get used to it.

If LSU fails to make a bowl game this season (5-7 record) which is a realistic possibility given how they looked against State, I think Alleva will be fired first to go and if there's not any drastic improvement the following year, Coach O will be shown the door too.
