Tennessee has outscored its 4 opponents by a margin of 48.5-19, or 29.5 points/game.

LSU has outscored its five opponents by a margin of 34.4-15.6, or 18.8 points/game.

I believe the effects of Tennessee's bye-week advantage and LSU's home-field advantage will more or less cancel each other out this game. On paper Tennessee looks like an 11-pt. better team than LSU.

Final projected score: Tennessee 31, LSU 20.

Idk, go look at both teams opponents. LSU's are at least 11 pts better then Tennessee's opponents.

Probably in the 40’s +. Our defense will do a good job until they are worn down because our offense can’t hold on to the ball and control the clock

Lsu Total Defense is 19th versus Tennessee Total Offense 1st

LSU Total Offense is 42nd versus Tennessee Total Defense is 95th.

So, I have no clue, really. I haven't watched Tennessee at all.

I know LSU can play sound Defense, provided they prepared properly. They prepared well for MSU, because I believe Kelly had them accurately categorized as a version of the triple option.

I think they prepared for Auburn based on the obvious scouting report that when Ashford scrambles, he doesn't look downfield anymore for an open receiver. Auburn, clearly recognizing that, must have done some good work on counter measures. LSU seemed to have decently adjusted at half time.

If they prepare effectively against Tennessee, make good adjustments, and the offense can press the safeties somewhat down the field with the passing game, I like LSU's chances on getting a win.

We have no place to be cocky by any means trust me. But LSU ain’t holding TN to less than 20 points. And that’s not coming from a “we’re just flat out better than you” perspective. It’s just that the system we run produces points. We scored less than 20 points only twice last season, one of which came against UGA’s mammoth of a defense (17 points). You can’t expect to score 20 points and beat us. You’ll have to score somewhere around 28 at the least IMO to win, and against our defense that is doable. Not gloating or putting UT on a pedestal but the offense is the strong suit of this team. I’d say TN scores somewhere between 27-34 points and LSU will just have to beat that. And you all definitely have the players to do it.

They'll be in the 30s unless our wheels fall off or we have alot of success on offense.

I don’t see LSU’s offense putting up 30 without JD being able to read better in pre or post snap and then actually pulling the trigger “on time”. I think the defense needs to keep this in the 20’s

Baskerville and Perkins will have great games imo. They will be the ones getting tested the most
