re: How many of you want miles gone so bad...

I think some would rather just lose and get him gone than to go 8-4 year after year. 8-4 every year just sucks, Hope for 14-0 but if we start to suck id rather lose enough to get him gone than to barely win enough for him to stay and do it all over again next year.

For most Nega-Tigers I think it is that they don't think LM will get us back to where we want the program to be, NOT that we want our team to loose. Big difference.

Not me.....
LSU wining is all I care about...
I don't give a frick who the coach is; so long as we correct the mistakes made last year....

That you would take a 6-6 season just to assure he leaves? I remember last year a guy asked us "do y'all ever just wish we would lose the rest of the games just so miles will be fired?" of course I wouldn't wish a loss upon my tigers but it seems most on here would. Just wondering what the census would be on here
I could see feeling this way if there were a sure-fire, championship quality proven head coach just sitting around waiting for an offer to be the LSU HC.
I just don't see him anywhere.
What I DON'T want to see happen is that we get rid of a proven winner just to take a chance that there might be someone out there that could take over and improve on the results.
It seems like you could get anyone in here to coach the Tigers to a 7-5/8-4 record, but dfinding that guy who can take them to 12-0/11-1 isn't as easy as so many on here want to believe.
I also don't want to enter another period where LSU is hiring a HC every 4 years just because the fan base isn't happy with 8-4/9-3. That's just not good for the program.

You DO realize many programs in the country would give their right nut to be 9-3. You're just another negatiger.

Read this
As for Miles, I don't "want" him gone in any sense. I think once we get Crowton out of here, we may be able to compete for the SEC title again. However, seasons like 2008 and 2009 are unacceptable. I think Miles knows this so I'm willing to give him a couple of years to right the ship. But to suggest that he's untouchable because of what happened in 2005 - 2007 is ridiculous.

You do realize you are talking to the wrong poster about being a negatiger don't you?
WildTchoupitoulas is one of the most loyal Tiger fans on this board. You will not find him starting crap about LSU on the negative side.
When you click to respond go to the post that you diagree with click respond to that one not neccessarily the last post.

The reason you think that is because, like most people who don't think things through very well, you can't tell the difference between hope and expectation. People like you think that if someone predicts that they will die someday, they WANT to die. The lack of maturity and intellectual capacity needed to acknowledge and deal with the fact that things do not always happen the way we want them to leads you to draw ridiculous conclusions like the one stated in your post.
To put this on a 3rd grade level so you might have some hope of understanding it....no, I don't want LSU to have a bad season just so Miles will get fired. I think LSU will have bad seasons and that he will get fired. I want him to be fired so that we won't have bad seasons.

Because that's what stupid people do.

You obviously didn't understand my post - or are actually trying, unsuccessfully, to respond to someone else's post.

LSU is not most programs.
And nine wins won't be achieved this year.

I don't want him gone. I want a 10-2 season.

If you believe this; then you are truly a moron.
And to Wild Tchoupitoulas; I misread your post. I was citing your quote; where someone made a reference to us being 6-6. Sorry.

I found one...
LINK
and some of these guys can spin however they want...but i guarantee you after LSUs first loss they'll be here bashing Miles...regardless of the reason for the loss. And if LSU went 6-6 (which won't happen) they'll be on here screaming "i told you so". They're just trying to rephrase it now so they don't look as stupid at the end of the season.

What if LSU went 3-3 to start the year losing to NC, WV, and Florida and beating Vandy, Miss St, and Tenn? Would you still want Miles next season, or would you hope for a downhill slide to insure a new HC the following year?
P.S. I remember losing to Houston under Dinardo and a lot of people not being too upset by it b/c they knew it was the end for the HC.

This isn't about Miles. This is about hoping LSU loses...which i will never do under any circumstances.
I don't have the power to fire or hire and im damn sure not going to stop attending games. I pull for whoever is on the sidelines wearing purple and gold.
