TAF should be a sponsor here and run a donation drive each year

If you are a season ticket holder, you support TAF. You can also do straight donations to them. I also do the pay per win program. You can do $1 a win or $50,000, whatever you want. If you are season ticket holder, the big benefit to doing pay per win/ is you get 4 points per $1000.

I do a million dollars a win, me.

I do if you ever want season tickets to any sport, you should join now and start accruing priority points. If you can swing the $100 level, it gets the most bang for your buck. TAF funds student athlete scholarships and most all atheletics facilities upgrades.

I donate to TAF and Bayou Traditions

$100/year to start and consecutive years add up more points.

We do as season ticket holders
Posted on 12/5/25 at 5:49 am to doublecutter
Yes Yes Yes.
I first joined in 2006. Donated only 100 bucks each year for 5 years. Was eligible for season tickets in the 5th year. This was the era where there was no turnover. You get rewarded for being a constant donor no matter the level you are on.
As our income grew, our donations grew. Now its a great avenue for tax write-offs.
Also, you can take pride knowing you are part of the athletic program. You want to see LSU win championships? They cannot win with the big boys unless they have people like myself and you.
The higher levels get all kinds of perks, and get invited to events.
There are a lot of people out of state who are in TAF. At a certain level of donorship, you can simply call your rep and ask for single game tickets to select events, and they can help assuming availability.
Athletic facilities before 2000 were a joke. Its impressive knowing what it used to be vs what we have now in only 25 years. Saban helped change that mindset. Back then no-one donated a dime except for the wealthy. At the beginning of the change of mindset, you should have seen the TigerLair, which was the main chat board prior to TD. People were up in arms about paying an extra $85 per seat for SEZ seats. Someone posted, "Do you know similar seats in Neyland Stadium require a $400 donation? Get with the times" The thread then was full of crickets.
However, only join TAF if you want to be part of making a difference. If you look at it only from a financial value standpoint of view, buying on stubhub to the big games costs a lot less in the long run.

Do you donate to the "Team TAF" general scholarship fund or to 1 or more specific sports? Does membership only included if you donate to the "Team TAF fund"? It seems you gain priority points no matter what you donate to but you can receive added benefits for donating to certain sports?

I gave a $100 a year (minimum) for about ten years and LSU finally called me to offer season tickets.

I used to donate to Team TAF. Now I am in The Oaks. Start with Team TAF and if you are or become blessed with further success, consider the Oaks. You will get a little more points being an Oaks member. The Oaks club was started a few years or so ago. I love it. Lots of additional perks. I did the Victory Hill walk and pregame sideline pass this season.
Also, no commitment is binding. TAF is in the fundraising business, not the debt collecting business. They need pledges on paper so they can approach financial institutions for funding, and pursue their master plan. If life events happen and you can’t honor your pledge, no worries.

I do.
And if they come calling for something I find worthy- I donate extra.
I'll donate extra for new facilities, etc. I donated extra for Les' buyout and now BK's buyout.

Seriously? I’m definitely doing it then.

As a season ticket holder you do not automatically donate to TAF. You are required to make a “Tradition Fund” donation per season seat. This is not TAF. Tradition fund goes directly to the Athletic Department. TAF is a separate and private fund raising group.
