were recruited for anything .. excluding band camp or anything not athletic. I read all this bs about this guy and that guy and how he read something on a board and thats why he is out. 100% truth? No however plays a part, how big a part depends on the situation of the player. Say what you want this is not a logical situation for most players. Very emotional and most college coaches play on this and the "need" to go pro. People need to stop saying it has no effect what you say on here and wake the frick up. Make fun of DD and others all you want but at least they bleed P & G.

When I was in 6th grade, I was recruited by John Curtis to transfer there to play basketball. There were no message boards back then.

If you think he left because of this board you're just dumb. He left to go to a team that RIOTED when their coach left. You think a message board criticizing poor coaching is worse than a fricking riot? Really? Do you realize how fricking stupid this sounds?

Yes I do and I've read it on this site for years and its only gotten worse. Really? please .. I knew I would get slayed saying this .. its not popular on here but its true whether you believe it or not. Am I happy about the direction the program is taking not entirely but I do love LSU and long after all the current coaches and admin are go I will still bleed P&G. Period .

I was recruited to join EST. Anyone remember EST? Jesus that sucked, especially because the recruiter was this hot woman I wanted to sleep with.

I just stated this in another post and I'll say it again... as a coach one of my players being recruited has asked many LSU questions that I know he has gotten off of here. So yes I think all the negativity on the boards has a huge effect on some (not all) recruits.

If someone mentions a recruit by name, someone who knows that recruit WILL forward him the link by week's end. It's a technological age.
While he's here, it's possible he could be influenced by us terribly disappointed fans. Hope he would also realize that we're trying to pressure admin into making changes for the better. We won't allow the program to decline. Forever LSU!

Pick and poke at my statement all you want, but I am a huge LSU fan and read the boards daily. So when I am asked something that was taken practically verbatim from a negative post on a message board I think that effects recruiting. If I am getting asked these questions I'm sure it is happening other places as well.
