Yes it’s like homosexuality, I don’t care what you do or who you love, just don’t force it on me.

It’ll be a distant 3rd to NBA and WC. And maybe not even that.

Soccer sucks and the NBA is probably the worst sports league now.

College baseball is still the best sport since the 90’s along with college football. College football has dropped bad since 2020

College baseball is truly my 1B behind college baseball.

That being said, this was the best finals in a decade, and likely one of the best all time.

both of those teams were probably the worst teams in the finals in my lifetime. Just bad basketball and coaching all around. The NBA now is truly hard to watch.

The game has very little scoring and few legit shots on goal. With a couple rule changes to open things up, soccer could be interesting. But in it's current state, it's a tough watch. That being said, I do appreciate the national spirit during the World Cup. But the game itself is a no-go for me.

The issue here is that you don’t and want to understand the game of soccer that’s why you don’t like watching the most popular sport worldwide. You need to stay where you’re at.

Pulling for Troy, GA or NC. Fk Bama, Ole Miss, Okie and TX. Odd without LSU and I'm sure Omaha misses the Tigers. Jello-shots baby!

So you think this year's Knicks team is worst than last year's Pacer's team? What about the 2023 Miami Heat team? What about those Lebron Cavs teams?

Once the tigers are out, my interest levels are pretty moot. I'll watch the NCAA tourney or football playoffs, but other baseball teams? It just doesn't move the needle for me.

Nobody cares about your gay activity that poor countries love around the world. It will never be popular in America because it’s a terrible and gay activity

That’s great but you didn’t really answer the question. Additional question, do you still watch the NBA?

you hit both of the go-to responses from the soccer defenders: I'm not nuanced enough to understand the beauty of the game, and the world loves it.

I noticed you provided no substantive response to my argument that the rules are far too restrictive and prevent scoring opportunities. I won't even get into the nonsensical PKs. In most cases the punishment far exceeds the crime, and since goals are so rare, giving a team a PK seems too much in most circumstances.

and of course this argument is silly. Soccer is the world's most popular sport because all you need is a ball. Folks in poor countries can play soccer, but not other sports that require equipment. That's the reason soccer is so popular.

ETA: there's nothing wrong with tweaking rules to make a sport better. Football and basketball do it every year. Even baseball and golf (which both have snooty purists, much like soceer) has tweaked some rules in recent years.

You know that it's ok for you to love soccer, but yet acknowledge that the game could be improved with some tweaks.
