Had Stingley played we would have won period. Just sucks because 3-0 going into UF would have been huge! A team improves the most between week 1 and 2.

I knew this was going to be a rough year. Didn’t shock me at all. Always felt like this year was more about preparation for the next year to have a decent shot at another Championship run next year.

Here’s the truth about LSU. We recruit well enough to realistically make a run at a championship every 3 to 5 years. We don’t attract QBs who are polished enough to be effective day one starters and we don’t develop them well enough to get two good years out of them. We basically have to wait for that 4th year guy to get some experience to maybe be good enough in his 5th year to take us there. Without at least a decent QB, you ain’t making a playoff run anymore in college. Long gone are the 3 yards and a cloud of dust games. This is Brennan’s “experience year”. Will he develop and gain confidence enough to take us next year? That’s all on him now.

This is a stupid take. Their top five receiver numbers were 183, 158, 122, 68, 57 yards. Is Stingley going to get out there and cover five guys at the same time? Coaching staff let everyone down. Leach has been doing this for years and teams do shut him down sometimes. I guess our coaches didn’t bother to watch that film.

We just won a natty. Far from depressed. Disappointed but optimistic is a better way to explain it

JV against the varsity. Not really surprising after the fact. Now this team will mature quickly and be much better as the season rolls along.
Still puzzled with this O. No passes to the backs. Back to long developing pass plays. They had better develop a short passing game fast. The Brady offense looks to be gone.

I worked 72 hours this week, will be until Nov, spend my Sunday off catching up on chores, no time for friends or family really. Been out all day today and still am. Pretty fricking bummed to be embarrassed like this. This was what I looked forward to as like a nice joyous break from how busy things are.

frick man, why couldn't we just be florida level good? So we could hope? Now I'm hoping for hope, for next season it all coming together but we don't even seem to have the pieces rn.

"Depressed".......................? Over the first game of the year? Following a national championship?

Is this serious question?

Not Me. I've only been depressed a handful of times after a loss.

CWS loss to Florida.
Regional Loss to Houston.
A&M 7 OT game.
Troy loss
UAB loss.

to name a few off top of head.

Was hoping for a good team showing but wasn’t necessarily expecting one. It definitely ended up looking worse than expected even but it’s whatever. It’s just college football still on a 2019 high nobody can take that. Asterisk season may progress
