Kyle Field is always worth the trip. Notice I said Kyle Field, not the Aggies.

Kyle Field was the worst part of my entire experience. My seats in the LSU section were about 15 yards past the end zone along the sidelines (whoever thought this was a good idea should be sterilized) and I got horrendous sunburn because it was at 11 in the fricking morning.

I actually really enjoyed partying with some Aggies. They were friendly and fun. My only complaint was that they were terrible at good-natured shite-talking. They kept talking about how glad they were that LSU fans were there and how excited they were to be in the SEC.

I'll be there. Just married an Aggie, and technically, I have season tickets through her family. I have joked that the only reason I was marrying her was for free tickets to the LSU game every other year. We will be having Thanksgiving on Friday. I expect her and her family to be in somber spirits compared to my family.

On that note, this Thanksgiving game works out for me due to me living in Houston now. But I am on the side that really hates it for LSU fans. Thanksgiving is awesome. LSU road games are awesome. But if you put the two together, they take away from each other.

I wouldn't go if it wasn't on thanksgiving. The fact that is allows me to be able to travel for the game and then have a whole weekend to do whatever I want after the game. Perfect situation.

So you didn't get to enjoy the smell of guano for 4 quarters? Or the open dumpsters right next to the concession lines? I think I'm going to enjoy this one from the comfort of my couch

LSU sold their allotment already. They had to do a lottery to assign seats. Same with Auburn.

49ers vs. Seahawks will be going on at the same time as the LSU-A&M game. :-(

Wow, I did not know this. That sucks.

No way the LSU vs A&M game can compete with this NFL marquee matchup.

I sat in that section too, if you looked straight forward you were looking at the end zone high school bleachers

How old are you?

It blows my mind how people can "talk shite" about something they have zero control over or they have nothing to do with the success of

That game on Thanksgiving day means I won't have to miss work or class to go. I can miss one family Thanksgiving

Besides, I'll be hanging out with my cousin who goes there

Went to one game there and did not like the atmosphere or the seat locations way at the end of the end zone. Place is in the middle of no mans land

It took us forever to find parking last year. Parked in a huge open field and hauled our ice chest across campus to our tailgate.

I'm sure the night game and it being thanksgiving day will help this year but did anyone else think parking at A&M was worse than at LSU?

EDIT: I mostly am referencing traffic.

Glad I was able to make that trip, I likely won't be able to make the game anymore.

Worst traffic I have ever dealt with for a football game. It took us nearly two hrs to get from one side of the stadium to the parking in the fields on the opposite side. No cops helping direct, no lights synced, no contraflow. It was definitely amateur hour and hopefully they have made some improvements this year.

FYI Apparently if you get off of HWY 6 and wrap around back it takes you to the parking fields with a lot less hassle.
