Bama had a better team last year and our crappy team almost beat them. No reason why we don't win this year.
Barring a complete meltdown by Harris and Fournette, we win big.

Bama's only loss was 9-6 to the most dominant team in the college football regular season, LSU. I hate bama as much as anyone and yea it sucked to have to play them again. My main point in my post was simply that we needed to quit looking for ways to get in with a bama L and just kick that Gump arse

Quit believing in the tooth fairy and face reality. You don't root for a team that is a media darling. LSU HAS TO WIN THE SEC to make the playoff.

I'm not sure people realize this: LSU could potentially be playing 3 games in the month of November that could determine head to head west champion. LSU/Bama, LSU/Ole Miss, and, although it seems unlikely, LSU/Texas A&M could be a game with a 2 loss aggie team and a 1 loss LSU. However, I guess the last scenario we could assume that a third team would probably be involved.

LSU can't Bama it's way into the playoffs this year without winning the SECCG.
Even with the SECCG, we have to be undefeated, or everyone else with two losses.
Ohio State/Michigan State
TCU/Baylor
Clemson/Florida State
The PAC12 Champ
If any of those teams have a better record to LSU, they probably get in before us. The SEC Butthurt is strong with the media.

Michigan didn't get the Bama treatment in 2006. Only Bama gets that. That's when you start hearing about quality losses and eye tests. Other teams have to do shite like win their games.

How is that even a comparison?
The 2007 LSU Team accomplished several things the 2011 Bama team didn't.
1) Won the SECW
2) Won the SEC
3) Beat more than two ranked teams
4) Beat more than six teams that had better than a .500 record going into the bowls (See Bama's 2011 regular season schedule and check out those school's records prior to the bowls. The joke is on you if you believe that wasn't all a set up).
