I'm excited to see what Nuss can do. But if he throws 2+ picks against a weak Wisky secondary, then I'll know more.

If the coaches think he's our best option and start him, I'll be his biggest supporter. Same goes for Nuss or Collins.
It's annoying when people on here get behind a particular guy. It's even more annoying when people start threads to call out people getting behind a certain guy when it hasn't even happened yet.
As for when "the Rant" will want him, you must first define "the Rant". If you mean one or two outspoken posters, it will be after Nuss' first bad pass or bad decision in the bowl game. If you mean the majority of people on this site, I'd say most here are pretty reasonable.

You might have a point if he didn't know he had offers he turned down. Also having no starting experience your potential is irrelevant.

Nuss Buss Kids already whining that people don't love Nuss enough.

In all serious, the over reaction to him both plus and minus is incredible.
Nuss has a great arm and has had plenty of time to mature. he will be fine in the Bowl game and should have decent numbers. Defense could lose the game for him. He should have 2-3 TDs and about 200-250 yards. RBs should get more carries without JD5.
The problems ,as always with the Rant is if you critique something or mention a weakness - Nuss Buss loses their mind and goes nuclear calling you an LSU doomsayer anti LSU person.
If you talk about his strengths and changes in the offense because he is not JD5 - the "anti everything LSU we are all going to die" crew starts cherry picking moments in history where Nuss may have struggled and goes nuclear.
