How long does BK stay with JD if he continues to not improve on finding open receivers?

I am just wondering what is more important once JD has finally convinced BK that he will never improve in that area. After all this is his 4th year of trying to improve. What we are watching is not acceptable at any level of football.
So, is winning 7 games rather than 6 games with JD more important than developing Nuss/Howard for our future. I like to win as much as anyone, but I'm afraid after the next 2/3 games our win total is going to be irrelevant, but if we haven't done all we can to develop our future QB's, we are kidding ourselves. Thoughts?

Until he starts turning the ball over.

Looks like he is sticking with JD as long as he is healthy.

He is not gonna make an entire SEC season. The last two games he has been injured. Nuss will have to play more and more. I just want to win so I hope they design the offensive that gives him the best chance to be successful . So far I have not seen it from the OC. They are trying to make JD into something he is not.

Will prob take him getting injured (again)
His usage is way too high & Dumbrock has nothing to counter it

I am in agreement with you. I feel that getting either Nuss or Howard ready for next season and beyond is more important than keeping Daniels out there when you know he's hit his ceiling. He's just not going to get any better.

This is likely true. But he’s already had a fumble and it didn’t seem to phase him. The other inevitable possibility is injury, which we are already seeing. QB’s shouldn’t be running that much, even the ones that linebacker size.

It wasn’t enough to participate in the 3 other threads? You just had to start your own?

It’s not Denbrock’s fault that the offense isn’t putting up numbers - he’s putting our receivers in position to make plays, the ball just isn’t getting to them

As long as Nuss keeps going 2-6 for 18 yards, JD's job is safe.

Nuss will take over by the Ole Miss game

it would have to be way after the time frame where the WR’s drop 5 passes a game that hit them in the us da and after the guy turns the ball over several times and after the guy doesn’t look like our best player. So after a lot of things …

I guess so, as I obviously missed the others. Maybe you could tell me where to find them, and I'll check what was said. thanks for the heads up.

Until he doesn't give LSU the best chance to win.

This is a Miles/Jefferson/Lee type of situation. Kelly is completely sold on JD and will roll with him no matter what. Unfortunately Nuss has yet to step in and take over when called upon. At least Lee had proven himself competent until that first Alabama game.

He seems to have Les Miles tendencies valuing turnovers over bad play.

Nuss threw 5 of 6 passes perfectly. If he would have made a perfect pass on the one poor pass, it wouldn't have mattered because the receiver ran well short of the first down and Nuss was pressured and had to throw. That was considerably better than JD's performance the entire game as he only threw two good passes to his WRs. So why is Nuss skewered when he comes in cold on auburn's 10 yd line and has to be careful not to turnover the ball. I thought Nuss did his job well. Against Southern he made a terrible TO mainly because his 3rd string TE couldn't get through the line, knocked down, and Nuss was trying to do something with his limited plays. terrible decision that I am sure he hates he made. But when he was in the game with the ones against NM, he looked really good, so I could see improvement.
Hard to understand wanting JD who cannot see the field and has proved it for 4 years of starting ahead of anyone that has superior throwing and field vision, Nuss or Howard. I guess a couple of more ugly offensive losses will force the necessary changes, so I will just watch an wait...and continue to hope that JD finds an open receiver.
