By the end of year 3, Dinardo had beaten Bama, beaten Florida (the Bama of that decade), tied for the division lead twice, and won 10 games with a shorter season.

And he inherited a dumpster fire, not a top 15 program.

Not my decision to make. Realizing this makes life simpler.

If he doesn’t win 10 games next year with the defense he has coming back his seat should be warm

How many games did we give Les in 2016? Let's give him 4 and replace O with Aranda as interim, then hope and order will be restored across the land.

I’ll give him to the end of September 2018
2 of our first 3 games are against Miami and at Auburn.

We will know the direction of the program and we will be contenders or pretenders at that point.

If the later, I don’t see a reason to continue with O beyond next season.

He gets 3 years. One of his supposed positive attiributes was continuity

We to be fair, he has continued to do what Miles did. Finish in the 8-10 win range.

If we lose to Bama next year, I've had enough of him and his boss

That’s not really fair either.

What if he goes 11-1 with a loss to Bama.

What if he goes 9-3, beats Bama but loses to Miami, Auburn and aTm?

You can say that it all comes down to Bama.

It's not enough to beat bama anymore. Now he has to beat Jimbo and whichever UF/UGA team comes out on top in the East.

I'd say 4-5 full seasons. If we still haven't won the division by let's say 2021, I'd say it's time to go a different direction.

That means he'll get another contract. Frick that.

Yeah you may be right. It's the good ol boys network in effect where all you have to do is have a coach that's "one of us" and he's good. That's the only way someone like him could get a job like LSU HC. Forget about results, or merit.

Being that I lack in computer literacy, how did you get that LSU steal your face avatar up? I’ve been trying to get a Saints one to upload without much luck. Any help will be greatly appreciated...

am holding my judgement and not knocking him for this season because he did not have options at QB. He was stuck with Etling.

I’m out if we lose to Bama again. That’s just where I am with this whole losing streak.
Find someone that can get it done.
I’m over the excuses and the delusional thinking like “we’re close” (2016), “we’re coming” (2017).
Just shut up and beat them. The end.

3 full years as head coach is long enough to see whether or not we came.
