According to the CDC, in the month of May 18,000 Americans died of Covid. Of that number only 150 were fully vaccinated, which is less than 1%. Cause of death listed on the death certificates of the 17,850…STUPIDITY! What the hell is so hard to understand about these statistics? Why would you not get vaccinated?

Vaccinated does not prevent you from getting the virus..period...no matter how much you Covidians skyscream about getting vaccinated...you feel so strong that it works you don't need to worry about the unvaccinated...our bodies our choice like you liberals preach...

and why would you put something in your body that has not been FDA approved, rushed to the public with no long studies done to know what effects it will have own your body for a virus that has a 97-99% recovery rate and be a human lab rat...STUPIDITY!

There is your first problem...they have flipped flopped on some many issues along with Fauci over the past year dealing with this virus you really going to believe everything from them?

You really believe all those died of covid alone? We have already seen numerous reports how people who died from something else other than covid, yet tested positive for covid, had death from covid placed on their death certificates yet suddenly the past year the flu is non-existent statistically...

Oh before you come back "well wait till someone close to you catches it" I am a survivor of the virus as well as my 95 year old grandmother...so go FYS...

I guess soon it will be "we need to get vaccinated for the delta variant, mask up shut everything down until then...green light the unproven delta vaccine!"

the following fall..."we need to get vaccinated for the alpha variant, mask up shut everything down until then...green light the unproven alpha vaccine!"

the following fall..."we need to get vaccinated for the bravo variant, mask up shut everything down until then...green light the unproven bravo vaccine!"

it will never end with you Covidians...

If our forebears had been as anti-authority as many are now, we would still be battling polio and smallpox.

Every liberal I know repeats this talking point like a broken record and it's ridiculous. It must have been mentioned on CNN one night. You can't to compare Covid (<1% death rate) to smallpox (30% overall death rate) or polio (15-30% death rate in adults). Covid is far closer to the flu than smallpox or polio. Get out of here with that nonsense.

My opinion is that if the vaccine works and is readily available for anyone and everyone, then there should be no restrictions.

But to answer the OP I think there will be limited capacity again simply because the idiots are in the majority and our governor is one of them.

Well lets do this

The smallpox eradication effort was in 1967, where just about every American lined up, took the shot, and crused the disease

In the 10 years leading up to smallpox, less than 500 americans died from the disease

500 HUNDRED DEATHS ONLY IN 10 YEARS

Well lets do this

Its 2021 and just about every american is NOT lining up to get the vaccine because not all of us think it is necessary. If the vaccine works and you are vaccinated then why do you care if others get vaccinated or not? If the vaccine works and it's available to everyone then just be content that you are safe and stop worrying about everyone else.

I'm revisiting this thread to update my prediction. I just got my test results back and I'm covid positive. Likely the delta variant. My wife tried to go online to schedule a rapid test at walgreens.com and the website is down probably due to the surge. I think the chances of full capacity are 0-5% now. This new spike will put the snowflakes in a frenzy and they will overreact as usual. FWIW this is not nearly as bad as the flu I had 3 years ago. I could hardly get out of bed back then. This is more like a bad cold for me.

Eta: Although my wife (rn) and brother (doctor) are telling me that my symptoms are likely to get worse

Yes yes, and all of these folks pushing for the vaccine are not taking into account all that have gotten it and have natural resistance to it. The body is amazing and any vaccine is really based off what our body does naturally.

I have the vaccine but if i was younger I would not have done it. Those that are elderly or have conditions that make this deadly should consider it. But, leave everyone else a lone.
