How is the Bama lineman not ejected from the game for a cheap hit like that?

Clearly malicious and dangerous...but breathe hot air on an opposing quarterback and our star LB gets called for targeting.
This shite is motherfricking inconsistent.
If you take a swing at another player with a helmet on, you get kicked out. But hit them in the back when they aren’t even expecting it and it’s just a penalty...

My argument is that the punishments do not fit the respective crimes. Them losing a starting lineman for a very dirty hit would have bigger implication for the game.

It was a stupid play and it cost them 7 pts. We won by 5. So that play basically cost them the game. Sabans rath and that fact are good enough

I think his grievance is more about the rule
If a player can get ejected for targeting which can be plausibly accidental then you should definitely get ejected for a terrible cheap shot like this.
Remember Vincent had to go out of the game after that.

Vincent almost rolled up Bama 74. That penalty was huge for outcome of game. Made it a TD possible drive not a FG drive
