Been to Corvallis a few times it’s a cool place. Love that part of the country. Neat little campus baseball park is pint sized.

Corvallis is the Auburn of the Pac 12

Eugene is their Knoxville.

NOLA to PDX on Southwest, then drive is probably cheapest. Delta has a great flight MSY to EUG with one stop in Salt Lake, but it can be pricey. Depends on what matters most. Eugene airport is small and easy and only about 45 min from OSU.

Houston to Portland is also a good option if you don't mind driving that much.
