Maryland was a tough matchup for us because they have two great bigs that matched-up well with KBW and Reid. Michigan State doesn’t have that. They have 1 guy over 6’8” that averages more than 10 min/game, and he’s only 6’9”. I think Reid and KBW take this game over on the offensive glass.

You do realuze that MSU waxed Maryland, right?

You do realize Indiana sucks and they beat the Spartans twice.

If you have really watched Michigan State, they are starting 5 heavy and do not really have a bench. We have at least 8 players in our rotation. If we wear their starters down and force them to use the bench we will win! No one wants to play LSU right now!

Yes, early in the season. It shouldn’t surprise anyone that a very veteran Michigan State team was superior to a very young Maryland team early in the year.

I’m not saying LSU wins, I’m just saying I think LSU’s size will give State problems.

We beat them and made the Lord and Savior Nick Saban quit in 1995!

They look dominate in all phases of the game. Wtf we got screwed getting them in the sweet 16 and Tom Izzo is the bbest tournement coach there is. Hopefully Beneford can fdraw up some good plays to counter react Mi St's defense.

Holy frick!! Not reading the whole thread but you are drunk and have no grasp on grammar (no doubt in my mind you thought dominate was correct). Good Lord man. Go to bed if you haven’t yet.

LOL no

LOL all you want.

LSU has 3 legit guards that can control the offense. Waters would be a first rd pick if he was 6'3 instead of 5'9; Smart has Rajon Rondo type physical ability, and Mays is a great college guard. Naz Reid is hot and cold, but Good Naz is as good as anyone not wearing a Duke jersey (and for the record he had an off game today, I think). Both Williams are able to impact the game, Days can fill minutes, and Taylor is a beast athletically.
We can drive and crash the boards, and that creates fouls; and we hit FTs.

We have everything personnel-wise to make a deep run, and maybe win it all if things go right. Michigan State isn't noticeably better than Tennessee or Kentucky, we beat both. We beat both in hard, tightly fought games.

My concern is that Izzo would have been a hand full for Wade to match wits against, and will absolutely coach circles around Benford.

MSU and Izzo always choke in the tournament.
