Tory on a fullback swing pass. He's always open. Then hurt some people.

Lol, don't be so soft.

Did we fail on the road vs a top ten opponent?

3/3 FGs, 4/4 XPs, 48 yards per punt, and a long of 52.

I have more faith in our Special Teams than I would in Bama's. Their struggles are well documented.

I expect a lot of chest matches against coaches to start the game. The biggest question is, how will Aranda plan to stop their passing game and how will Brady do with 2 weeks to plan for saban. Every year the talk is how saban gets 2 weeks to prepare for us but we finally have an offensive mind that will do the same against him. Should be a fun matchup.

Suck it up buttercup, we comin! One game doesn’t define a season, we had a bad game on ST and still WON against a top 10 team. Have a little faith in a staff that has brought this team from floor of the basement to the peak of CFB on offense to correct one games mistakes before they play the next.

We beat Bama by being aggressive!!!

Exactly. Like every team that's ever beat Alabama under Nick Saban. Play Fast, aggressive, spread them out and air them out.

Exactly 0 teams have beaten Alabama playing tight, running the ball and trying to grind out a win. In fact, that's exactly how LSU has lost the last eight and nearly lost the last one they won

I’ve been saying it for weeks, Moss will be the key. Those Freshmen LBs can’t cover him

Yep there will be plays there for us to make with the TE. Moss should be open lots especially if they blitz.

Obviously no turnovers, but protect the QB, protect the QB, protect the QB. Whoever protects the QB better wins.
Protect Joe and we can win a shootout if we have to.

I think a man that nobody is talking about who has done really well in these matchups is Dave Aranda. In the 3 matchups vs Bama, Arandas D has given up 10, 24, 29 and as we know majority of the time the defense was playing with a short field. I think if the defense can come to the mean of those 3 performances then the Tigers will walk out of Bryant Denny victorious

Exactly.
Play aggressively and let the chips fall where they may. If we come out tight and revert to playing it safe, we'll lose and we will squander the gains we have made this year in terms of perception and on the field success.
Play fast, loose, and confidently. If we lose then so be it go all out shooting all your arrows.

I think a big part of this game depends on if our Wrs can get off the press man coverage. Receivers also must be extra dramatic when being held in order for the referees to call pass interference imo. Must make a big deal about it.

Fulton and Stingley are CB 1 and 2.

That’s why I put 3. Whether that’s Vincent, Ward or flott

I was thinking about this yesterday. In 2012 NC Bama committed double coverage to Reuben Randle because he had put the dagger in them before. I expect Bama to plan on taking away the X and Y guys which leaves the slot, TE, and RB as the go to options underneath.
This also opens the running game as safeties will have to respect the rpo.
And lastly, how would you stop or slow down a high power passing offense? Let them run the ball. Might be exact opposite of the LF7 defense with 8 in the box

FWIW this is somewhat Auburn did. Rushed 4 dropped 7. Result 500 yds but way fewer pts

I think the key to this game will be sound tackling. Keep the plays in front and wrap up the legs and feet... forget trying to go high and stripping the ball. Every time a LSU defender tries to go high Alabama's receivers they will make a move and score.

I think we need to come out fast like against Texas. Fast. Stretch the field. Put pressure on that defense to get to the line because we are snapping the ball with 20 seconds left on the clock. Get in there and snap the ball before the defense can line up and especially before they can get the call in to change defensive formation. Have 3 RPO’s called in the first huddle and then let Joe call the play at the line. Speed is the key. Don’t let them substitute players. Keep them in base defense. Score and make them keep up and eventually DBU will kick in and get the turnover and we score again.
Do not play that merkat slow offense that we played with Auburn. E wants to play that offense and O wants the defense to have time to rest. This is not what has us the highest scoring team in America. Warp speed to win or we lose.

20+ plays every drive. Don't go for the long passes. Take everything they give you and keep Tua off the field and their defenses on.

Our defense need to stop Tua every three and out.

Pretty much Alabama gameplan against LSU on 1/9/12

I absolutely hate this idea. We didn't build this crazy arse high flying offense to go slow against Bama...we did it to put up POINTS...and lots of them

Yeah, Vincent at the nickel isn't going to hold up very well. This is definitely a good game to put Flott/Ward on the edge and move Fulton onto the slot receiver.
