I think it shows ND made a good hire that was able to keep up the success Kelly created. Freeman still has to go actually win the next game to do something Kelly hasn’t.

Why are you making things up? Brian Kelly played for a national championship with Notre Dame.

Freeman hasn’t done anything that Brian Kelly didnt do except make an easier playoff scenario.

Not sure how that possible relates at all

Because your stupid arse is pointing out that a team with a better coach to some nobody yet makes the national title yet our a-hole coach gets blown out 3 times this year and once a historic loss to our rivals at home by 30 and you are having a victory lap?

Yea it’s a horrible look for bk. Lost to bama by 30 in TS. If he manages to miss the playoffs AGAIN, he’ll be out the door

And they responded by winning 13 straight on the way to a national title birth… like what’s the point? Freeman took ND farther than BK ever did. It’s a bad look lol

They played literally nobody and their A&M win was when they were playing with their shite QB who hit the portal cus he was bad.

ND’s playoff “gauntlet” were against an overrated team with a good coach but no real talent that could match, a Georgia team missing their starting QB and obviously wasn’t as good as years past, and then vs another perennially overrated team with one of the greatest choke artists as a head coach.

They are about to get absolutely rocked by most likely Ohio State.

He never could win the biggest games at ND. Constantly flopped in big bowl games. He leaves and the guy after him wins 3 big bowl games and puts them in the championship game.

I mean given what we know about Kelly and the way he face plants in the biggest games, would he have ever made a national championship game if he had to go through 3 games to get there? Hell he'd have Probably found a way to lose to UGAs backup QB.

Meanwhile Kely is still losing 3 and 4 games every year. Clocks ticking.

A horrific Indiana team that shouldn’t have been there
UGA with a backup QB
Penn State that has never won a big game

His old team going to the Natty in Year 3
And this ND team's quality is on par with his average good team. It's just this era has extremely watered down the rest of the field

He'd have made 3-5 NC's in this dynamic

Doesn’t really matter
The playoffs and Michigan minority coach
Penn state minority coach
Notre dame minority coach and the portal creating NBA atmosphere with free agents
College football as we knew it is DEAD
Good luck BK

$52 million dollar buyout after next season says he's not going anywhere

Why would it be embarrassing for BK? Freeman and Denbrock are BK hires. BK left ND in great shape, 11-1 and ranked 5th. BK took ND as far as he could under the previous rules and before NIL. He begged the previous AD for more money for facilities, for coaches, for recruiting, etc. The old AD Swarbrick wouldnt ever budge. Swarbrick is gone, likely bc of BK and the new AD embraced NIL. And Brady Quinn heads the collective which is one of the largest in the country. I’m certain BK is super excited for Freeman and Denbrock. I don’t know why he wouldn’t be. He took over a complete mess at Cincy, a complete debacle at ND from Charlie Weis, and a dumpster fire from Coach O. BK is a program revitalizer. That’s why he’s in Baton Rouge.

For “fans” who claim to only want to win, I sure do see a lot of people pining for a coach with a whole lotta mediocrity. Lots of God-awful losses (Troy, Miss St x3) and some random s*x scandals to boot. But I guess dude has a Cajun accent so it’s all good. LMAO
