My bad. Didn't mean to make so many of you guys nights. From what I recall he loved it here , loved Baton Rouge, loved the tigers, and if they matched or upped pay I THOUGHT for a second he might consider

Maybe when Miles retires but I doubt that. Jimbo left because he and Miles didn't see eye to eye

Secondly, do you think there is any chance of lsu offering him a big money contract to get him back as our oc, since stud/miles definitely isn't cut out for it.

Yes, Jimbo Fisher is going to leave a fairly successful FSU to come be an OC at LSU.

He also left for money and first crack at the FSU job. But yeah there was always some tension between he and Les, partly because Jimbo felt the LSU job should have been his and jimbo was sort of forced on Les. Not exactly grounds for a good working relationship.

Not exactly much love loss between saban and fisher either though

People hated him as an OC. If the rant was as big then as it is now this place would have been in constant meltdown. I remember being able to call almost every play. And damn he loved some screens.

Ah the good ole days of jumbo and the bubble screen

The best part about jumbo is that he could coach QB's and actually develop them

And I'm sure he's itching to be miles bitch after waiting for Bowden to retire

While we're at it... Lets add muschamp to coach LB's and pellini to coach D-line.

Meh multiple times under saban and miles, the o struggled.
If you add all the classes up FSU has out recruited lsu since 2002. He has more talent according to rivaks. Now they are getting hit with the injury bug this year. But he had no business losing to nc state this year.

You have to be fricking stupid or just a ranter to think he would step down from fsu to OC under miles. Thats more ridiculous than us getting gruden or del rio.

Les' involvement in the offense was also not good for a working relationship with an OC.

I was more adding to the meddling comment.

I think Jimbo mainly stayed to add Jamarcus #1 pick to his resume

The reason we'll not hire another legit one until Leslie is gone.
Nobody wants to come here to be yet another scapegoat.

Although Jimbo loved it when Saban interjected himself into the offense

This is what i dont get. If his hands have been on it since day one, then hes responsible fir the O since 2005. Yet its not him when we do well only when the O sucks. And the offense doesnt suck, just the passing game. It wasnt too shabby last year either. If anything, his hands were on more after the krags deal. Not just some point in time a ranter chooses. He, along with fans and media gave credit to stud for the job he was doing considering the circumstances.
