Don’t fault him. It also gives 3 weeks of prep with next years qb. That is like having another spring.

I think kids should play in CFP games because they have a chance to win a National title. All other games might mean something sentimental such as last game of their college career but really mean nothing more than that.

Jayden Daniels gave us many hours of amazing football. He won the Heisman. He can darned well do what he pleases.

Hey Jayden - thanks for the memories.

His legacy is that trophy thingy he won in NYC.

So his legacy is an individual award and not anything to do with the team. Gotcha

I'm good either way. If he plays it will give me another chance to watch his magic on the field one more time and if he doesn't then it will give a much deserved chance to Nuss to show tiger nation what he can do.

I would absolutely love to see him play one last time, but I would totally understand if he chooses not to. Just like Joe, love JD5.

Thinking about this…I guess I am a strange duck…..

If it were me, I would play. Last chance to tear it up with my boys.
If it were my son, I would recommend he sit. Stretch those fingers in preparation of counting money.
For JD, God bless him either way. His decision will not affect my life one bit. I am still comfortable with my bet of LSU covering and the over.

1) he has his whole future on the line. Life changing money.

2) he has nothing left to prove in CFB

3) Bowl games are meaningless

4) I would like to see more of Nuss before next year

Hopefully Nussmeier's dad lets him play this time or it is the Rickie Collins show

People who win Heisman trophies do not quit. They finish what they start.
Most guys who win the heisman finish the season due to the fact they were able to lead their team to a National championship. This isn’t the case here since LSU is playing Wisconsin in the toilet bowl.

Don’t care either. Bowl games outside of playoffs have become worthless unless you’re a smaller program. Most will use these as a practice game.

He was on "Pardon My Take" this morning, and Big Cat (Wisconsin fan) asked him "hypothetically if he was jayden daniels, would he play in the bowl game?" and JD said "you'd still heave to beat an LSU team with Jayden Daniels, we gonna see"

So mayyyybe hes thinking about playing lol

If LSU can’t beat Wisky with Nuss then we are in trouble.

That said. I’d like to see JD5 one last time for a half.

Zero issue but a little disappointed I wouldn’t get to see him play one more time in P&G.

He has earned it. I will feel the same way about him no matter what his decision is.

It's win-win. Either we get one last chance to watch that kid, or Nuss can get his first true start in a game with a little enough on the line to call this game "important" before he has to be THE guy for our very tough 2024 schedule.

Yeah. For the people saying I hope he skips. You can’t legitimately call yourself LSU fans.
