Cept the fact that they still got there arse handed to them. And make no mistake Clemson's O is not in the same league as Oregons..

Thinking you're gonna score in the 30's?

I don't think Clemson is really similar to GT or Miami. They are not as one dimensional as GT for sure so I think this will not be that kind of game.

Well. Seeing as how Oregon scored more against you than any other team last year, I'd say that's really not a relevant example.

they scored 27 against us..... their avg for the season was 45...

it is a relevant example.

This thread needs to be changed to: How does Clemson win?

1. Go down by 30+ points.
2. Try to mount a comeback in garbage time.

only way clemson wins is if the GA dome resods the field a day before the game... removes the roof, turns on the sprinklers and then gets hit by a rainstorm

LSU dee will be rested up and rarin' to geaux. They'll stop Clem's offense by curb-stomping them.

Seems like I have to apologize for my LSU brethren to remind them that this is not 2011 and we can be scored on relatively easy.

Sure we'll probably get 3-4 turnovers and 4-5 sacks, but our secondary will give up 2-3 TDs and hopefully we limit you to 21. This secondary has been suspect all year and horrendous since the bye week. This defense has also let teams have just about anything they want since Bama. Should be a good game and if the offense is on then we win something like 37-24

Really to the Op here is your answer..

Clemson Rush Defense:

61 Clemson 160.00 Yards a game

So.........................

We will line up ram it right down the throat of the defense, keeping the Offense off the field..

By the 3rd and 4th Quarter Clemson's D will be curled up in the fetal position. That is as simple as it gets..

Convenient you leave out:

A. The final score

B. The winner

If you had trouble (huge understatement) with West Virginia, Oregon would roll your boys up and pull a Cliff Harris.
