OU or ARKY?? Easy choice. Give me OU. Both LSU & ARKY got tired of the stupid 1:30 KO on Black Friday. It was better on Saturday, but this is a no brainer.

A lot of posters on this forum are too young to remember the huge Thanksgiving weekend rivalry game between OU & Nebraska. Was the biggest game played every Thanksgiving weekend with serious national title hopes attached.

You never know…. 50 years from now LSU - OU might be one of the biggest rivalry games played this weekend.

Give me OU, all day, every day, over Arky!!

As a previous poster said until OU/OSU resumes the historical and logical choice would be for OU and Mizzou to play on the final weekend. They’ve played almost 100 times dating back to their Big 8 days. LSU/Arky would be the best fit with what’s left.

I agree let’s play a meaningful game at the end of the season. Surprised that the sec put us with Oklahoma though. Ou and Missouri have played 97 times while Missouri and arky have played 15. Just figured the sec would give us the old big 8 game.

Oklahoma MAY reschedule OK State BUT it will be early in season and not at the end. Both conferences have other plans for that last weekend.

What interests me is how the SEC is gonna vote to schedule going forward (after 2025 season).

1. Will we go to 9 SEC games? I am thinking NO as that simply would mean fewer SEC teams MOST LIKELY would make the playoffs.

2. If we did got to 9 SEC games, would the SEC make OU-LSU permanent rivals to satisfy the last weekend schedule.

I selfishly liked the Black Friday kicks, as it was easier for me to attend when I was in BR with family.

YMMV.
