That article really doesn’t say anything other than that Brennan lost the job.

Doofus, I was being facetious. I thought the Burrow reference would make it obvious.

It says he was promised the job if he stayed.

Don’t make that promise if you aren’t going to keep it.

Bottom line Daniels was guaranteed he would start.

I doubt most of you weeping vaginas do any of those things.

A reporter can say anything they want, especially when quoting an unnamed source.

So the people that say Daniels was promised the starting QB job need to understand you should keep your promise?

Or maybe the promise made to each of them is you will get the starting job if you win it?

A better question is "why does CBK keep trotting JD out on the field as the starting QB?

At least i can say Jarrett Lee was a bad quarterback. Some people are unable to criticize their own.

He was against Bama. He was very good at other times. I think him and Jefferson getting thrown in the fire as true freshmen wrecked both of them as QBs.

I'm not sure what happened to Daniels, he was much better as a freshman at ASU than at any other time since.

LSU does not have a good QB right now. I wonder what will happen today if Daniels lays another egg. I like the fact that he protects the ball but he seems to be paralyzed by fear of the turnover. I'm not sure he can fix that and also not sure we have a better option without burning Howard's redshirt. And then I start thinking about how that freshman year ruined JJ and JL.

I find myself defending Daniels mostly because of much guys on here are ridiculous twats about how they state their opinion.

Sorry for the rant

Everyone has it backwards. MB didn't quit because he lost passion, he lost passion because he was NEVER goign to be given a fair chance to be the starter after BK lied to him to get him out of the portal.

The more pertinent question is 'when does he lose the job'? At what point does LSU prepare for the future?

I think CBK should go to a two QB system . At least it will give an opportunity to see what Nuss can do . It sends a message to JD that he has to learn to read defenses and throw accurately . A little competition can be a good thing . Saban had no problem pulling QBs who did dumb things .
