How depressed would you be if the LSU program was in Penn State's shoes.

A petty thought considering how much the lives of those children have been affected, but I'm sure there are thousands of Penn State fans who feel like I do about LSU football - it is my favorite sport, bar none, and one of my true passions in life. I don't think I could stand the shame and embarrassment if something like this happened to the program.

Thinking about the shame it would cause the program and putting that first is what got them into this situation in the first place.

I would wonder which poster on TD would be the first to claim they were molested.

I'd be soooo freaking bummed... I mean my family has been bleeding purple and gold for over 75 years. That would kill my old man.

I would be very shocked that Miles had more power than I thought he had, and would be real sad for him to use it in such a manner.

That's it right there...the son must pay for the sins of the father. Or rather the players must pay for the sins of their coach.

I'm really sad for the innocent bystanders at Penn State who had no hand in the evil that went on within their program. Makes me sick and it's a lose-lose situation all around.

I'm so glad it's not LSU, and I really don't think Les Miles would hesitate to blow the whistle. He has his flaws but seems a man of integrity.

I would feel about the same as my friend who is a Penn State alum.

This is what he had to say today:
"frick you Joe Paterno and frick your legacy. I have been waiting for this report for a long time and couldn't be more disappointed. I gave you the benefit of doubt but not anymore. Hope you suffered when you you died. You are not PENN STATE."

No one man is or should be greater than a program or a university.

I have to say as much as I LOVE LSU, I am not sure I would even be thinking anything about football if this happended here...it would be about the kids who had thier lives ruined by a bunch of pathetic spineless wimps who were trying to protect an old man who would not retire and thought he was bigger than the college. sad

I'd likely be swinging from a ceiling fan right now.

Well said ... I would be embarassed for the school and the state, and would probably have a tough time supporting a program that would allow something like that to happen.
