How deep is your secondary?

So I just read this https://bit.ly/imYayX and knowing what our (WVU) offense is now about, how deep do you guys go on the backside of your defense?
Obviously this is a southern site so they stroke you all, and I have no doubt your incredibly talented. How deep? And what do your freshmen look like coming in?

How deep? Let's just say you'll feel it in your stomach...

we lost a Top 5 NFL CB and we are still being talked about as having one of the best secondaries in the country...
what does that tell ya?

It's deeper than I can ever remember it being. And we won't be seeing any freshman getting playing time. Not they aren't good, they are. They're just not needed.
The secondary is the deepest area on the LSU team.

not quite as deep as the pile of crap the sweater vest dove into but pretty deep.
Yes, you are screwed, thanks for asking.

It's not really about the incoming freshmen this season. It's more about all the guys who were freshmen last year. Mathieu, Reid, Loston, Vinson, Simon all got extensive PT last season as Frosh. Claiborne and Taylor return as starters and Ron Brooks has been a key contributor as well. Another plus is that one of the weaker guys at safety was moved to LB and that makes room for all our Sophomore studs to get more action.

8 to 9 guys getting good minutes?

So deep that the number 1 rated cover corner, David Jenkins, will probably take a red shirt this year.
Dont remember the quote word for word, but chavis said he knows his defense is good when he looks up and its the 4th quarter and 4 freshmen are playing against bama in the secondary.

Its really good, with Rivals #1 cover-corner in the country coming in June. The #1 Cover-corner in the country from last year taking PP's place, this year. Reid and Loston are just Beasts at Safety. Loston was the #1 overall Safety in the country when he came out, and Reid is probably better than him. Also have Taylor, our starting Senior Safety returning. Freshman Jalen Collins is 6'2, and ran a 3.9 shuttle(
) and Micah Eugene looks like a Tyrann Matheiu clone, and has been known to take over a game from the Defensive side(just a player). Tharold Simon is 6'4, and will be the first corner off the bench. Yep, a 6'4 corner-put some loft on the ball. Oh yeah, our starting corners are really good, too.

Plus extra DB packages. I could see 8 or 9 with Vinson and Sam Gibson thrown in. Not all getting 'good' minutes, but definitely playing, especially if there are injuries like with Taylor last season.

Vinson played last year.
ETA: I thought he did, but he's listed as RSFR on the roster so who knows.

I could have sworn I saw him in the defensive backfield during a game, not just on special teams.

you sure not thinking spring game?
Said he played in 3 games. Whats the cut off to get a rs?
Either way we are stacked in the secondary. St. Julien would prob start for wvu.

Nah. His profile says he played in 3 games, but included 2 SEC games in there, and I thought you couldn't red shirt if you played in a conference game or after a certain point in the season. I am thoroughly confused between my bourbon soaked football season and what lsusports.net says.
