Ask FSU fans. I work with an alum and he's already getting tired of Jimbo. Their was a rumor that he would be leaving for Auburn and he said good!

Yes, it's pretty obvious with threads like this that the bandwagoners who said: "Hey neat!" and jumped on board in 2007 pretty much fill this board with Rantard.

Lol of course. Your source is this cesspool of false information. Jimbo was a GREAT qb coach. However the dude ran so many bubble screens I thought my head would explode. Outside of 2001 (and even then it was only post ole miss) our offenses were mediocre. 06 was good after auburn. However 07's was better than that so can't blame miles. Also there wasn't much change in play calling in the offense from Saban to miles.

Don't like Jimbo as our coach either, just remembered him saying that. shite it was a long time ago. Searched the web and all that came up was the TD crap. Whether right or wrong I don't want Jimbo back. Way more creative options out there.
Bottom line is we all agree a change is needed and soon.

I always wondered how we couldn't keep him and promote him to our HC position. Was he ever interviewed? Or did he just not want to become our HC? I mean hindsight is 20/20 but he's got FSU on the up and rising again.

Tiger fans hated him as OC. Hated the play calling, the decision making, and basically treated him like every OC that we've had. Including Miles.

If only these so-called "coaches" had half the football knowledge that the guy sitting thirty rows up had, we'd never lose.

That was before the Crowton/Les Studthorpe disaster.

Credit that one to having no perspective on it.

You think the offense is predictible now?

first possesion
Addai up the middle
vincent up the middle
skyler green bubble screen
punt

5 yard pass to bowe
addai up the middle
20 yard attempt to x carter incomplete

give me a fricking break he was everything you HATE about miles.

And tell me, would this year's LSU team be 12-2 with a BCS berth or 11-3 with Florida State's schedule.

Get outta here with that bullshite

He has a worse record in an weaker conference with equally talented players.

In rhe last three years Fisher has as many loses to unranked teams as Les has to teams that went to BCS bowls.

Not really. The acc is terrible and he is still losing games to crap teams that he shouldn't. I'll give him creedit for recruiting well, but the product on the field isn't any different than it has been since he's been they. Perenial 3-loss team with at least one loss to inferior competition/year.

I agree with you.

I was just answering the OP's question. The same fans who hate Miles for the offense were saying the same shite about Fisher.

Also, they wanted to fire Saban after VT in 2002, were glad he was leaving for Miami after the Cap One loss in 2004, wanted him fired right after teh loss to UAB, etc.

LSU fans are never happy with what they have. They want the greener grass in someone else's pasture, not seeing the cow shite that is also in that grass till they have it up close.

David Shaw
Kirby Smart
shite I'd take Dabo Swinney
Art Briles
Gary Patterson
Chris Peterson
Kliff Kingsbury
Dan Mullen
Hugh Freeze
Bobby Petrino

Shaw- He may be better than Les in the long haul, but could very well fall off after Harbaugh's recruits start to graduate. Need a few more years on this one.
Smart- Never been a head coach. We don't need anyone with no experience, no matter how successful they were as an assistant. With the state of our program, we just don't need to take that risk.
Swinney- That shite's funny right there
Briles- Got to respect what he did at Houston and Baylor. That said, I would be very hesitant about his ability to be successful in the SEC. But I can understand this one, albeit disagree with it
Patterson- I can see why someone would want Patterson over Miles
Peterson- See Patterson
Kingsbury- Right, because a 33 year old, whose highest experience is as an offensive coordinator, is really a smart hire
Mullen- Meh, I don't see this one. Don't have an exact reason to point to, so I can accept if other people want him over Les, but I just don't see it.
Freeze- Same situation as Shaw, though he definitely had less talent to work with. But no way has he done enough to make it worth the risk
Petrino- Really?

Dude that's life in general. You make it sound as though it's a unique phenomenon that only has to do with sports, and specifically, with LSU fans.

There are thousands of examples in life outside of football where humanity in general is that way.
