I also don’t think home field advantage is going to be massive. This LSU team is on the older and experienced side. Of course you can always get a false start on offense, but these dudes aren’t going over there scared.
I think Pickett is probably the only true freshman that could see time in this game. There won’t be any starters going over there wide eyed like we have had the last few years playing so many freshman early in the year.

At the 2019 NC game, a few days before game, three Clemson players got in same elevator as me… at that point I knew… our athletes are just built different.

Some of those takes are a bit much, but Kelly has shite the bed in every opener since he got to LSU. None were against bad teams, but the law of averages says that he should have won at least ONE of those contests. Until he can fix that, no one except for LSU fans should think the Tigers have a good chance playing Clemson AT Clemson. If LSU loses in a blowout, (and I don't think that will happen) the embarrassment the fanbase will feel will be enough to put him on the hot seat imo.

Not trying to be mean, but the 2015-2020 Clemson teams were really good. They won 2 national titles, beating Bama in the process. There's no world where Clemson wasn't physically good enough in 2019

Well said. Yeah my bias thinks their offense will struggle to protect their qb, and they should make some mistakes. However im expecting a 4 qtr win.
