Just hire Kendall Briles and be done with it. The upside of hiring someone who was directly connect to dirty stuff but was close to it is that no one will come in and want to hire him.

I am not advocating for or against how Briles handled a scandal. Bobby Bowden famously said all of the SEC & Top programs cover up more offenses than you will ever hear about.

I believe Alleva is a hypocrite in this regard and think he should have never been hired. His 2 coaching hires prior to his own scandal departure from Duke were Franks' with a record in his five years of 7–45, including two 0–11 seasons, and Roof went 6–45. Also, in addition, he devalued this program by not going after the "Top Offensive-Minded Coach" he promised when he fired Miles.

I've already admitted in a prior post that after finding out much info about Freeze, some from direct Mississippi sources, on things I didn't previously know, I no longer could defend his hiring. I don't know what else I can do? Maybe ask the administrators to delete this thread?
