For those of you wishing a losing season in 2018 so O gets canned get a life. He’s the coach, get tf over it and support this team cause life is too damn short not too. Go to the games get their early and stay the whole time. Crowds this year were trash and it’s not only on the students.

I agree! If you can’t get excited about Alabama, Georgia and the payback MsSt gets all in Tiger Stadium something is seriously wrong with you!

You can cheer for the team and not be a fan of the HC. I gave him extra chance after extra chance after extra chance. Enough is enough.

He does what's best for himself, not the LSU football program.

See above.

I always have supported the team and always will. Those players deserve to be supported and reassured.

I'll still cheer for the Tigers like I always have but I'm not believing another word that O says.

I think LSU will have an up and down season in 2018. I expect to beat either Bama or Georgia. Beat Miami, but probably lose to Arkansas or Moo St.

10 wins and I call it a success. Anything more and Coach O gets coach of the year. Less than 9 and he probably will coach his last game for LSU vs AtM.

True... Devin White will have his final year as a Tiger. It will be awesome to watch him play.

How about another shitty thread about the WORSE HC ON LSU CAMPUS WHO HAPPENS TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE BIGGEST REVENUE SPORT.
You fricking people don’t see the big picture impact on both academic and athletic growth this imbecile has on MY SCHOOL.

Football revenue pays scholarships for kids that are participating in other sports and some academics due to “giving back” to the university from excess. Tax law changes will be the excuse they will use when it stops, but we know the reality.

I typically have a pretty optimistic view on life, but a positive viewpoint should have some basis in fact.

Sure, there are good things about the program, but there are also genuine concerns. And there is a very real need for our football leadership to prove to the rest of the LSU community that they know what they are doing. Blind trust has not been earned yet.

But they act as though it has been earned. Despite many actions that can be described as foolish, and, at times, immature.

So, forgive me if I am more reserved than usual with my optimism.

theSaltwaterGuide, you are quickly becoming one of my favorite posters on this board. you are reasonable and level headed and do not dwell on "perceived" issues with the goings on in the athletic department. like you, I love LSU and my degree enabled me to have opportunities to succeed and travel and raise a family. while I love LSU football and want to win titles it isn't the factor that determines my existence. since I do not have the responsibility to hire coaches, I can not like a hire but still realize I may be wrong and pull for them to succeed. due to my age, I also have the benefit to realize that there is a "long run" and if one hire doesn't work out, we just have to try again and hope to do better next time. it is the same way everywhere no matter what some of these kids think. bama was pretty bad with dubose, price and mediocre under shula. it happens.

keep up the good work!

this narrative seems to be prevalent in today's time; if I don't get what I want, I want the "offending party" to fail. i'm sure that anonymous message boards and other forms of social media contribute to the expression of low character displays of feelings.

to wish bad things on my alma mater is not what I would consider a good fan.

many people see mediocrity as long as O is Coach.

They would rather some awful to expedite the removal process as opposed to dragging out mediocrity for years.

Telling fans to give up their season tickets bc they don’t like the hires AND dumbasses doing it before the sky has fallen helps?

With this AD, 10 wins might get coach gumbo a lifetime deal.
