If lsu wins out. And clemson, ohio st, and ND do as well Bama will get left out. A one loss oklahoma team that wins its conference could possibly get in over them as well, but I would t count on that.

Tua doesn't matter. If @LSU is Bama's only loss, then they're getting in the playoff. There's really no question about it.

This is very true. Unfortunately we need to root for all 3 of those in order to definitely keep Bama out if they lost here.

Quite certain Notre Dame beat us recently so I don’t know how you can call them a cup cake.

5) Wisconsin wins the Big 10 championship
6) Miami wins the ACC Championship
7) Notre Dame loses to Navy, Syracuse, FSU, USC, or Northwestern.

They just covered it on “SEC This Morning “.:

“Bama won’t get in with one loss on account of their schedule”.

This regardless of other teams being undefeated or also having 1 loss.

Eye tests bee damned; they lose a game with that team, they don’t deserve shite.

But keeping it real, the committee will put Bama in ahead of ALL other 1-loss teams.

Not if they don’t win the SEC. If Wisconsin had won the B1GCG last they would have been in over Alabama. Clemson was the 1 seed with 1 loss and OU was the 2. They do not consider “ratings” because the differences are marginal

They were the 4th team in last year all 4 had a loss

I hate this fact, but I just do not see any way around it. If we win out and Bama finishes with one loss I see no chance the playoff committee leaves them out. The media blows them every week as the greatest college team in history now that they pass the ball so I can't fathom a Notre Dame taking a one-loss Bama spot. Not going to happen

Here’s what will happen.

LSU beats Bama without Tua and wins the SEC.

Tua comes back healthy and Bama destroys AU.

The playoff committee puts Bama 11-1 Bama in over 12-1 SEC champ LSU, because they say Bama is the better team with Tua.

This is the scenario where I go all harvey updyke on some people.

Negative.

That also implies OSU, Clemson, and ND all lose

Clemson is going to slip up somewhere but gets in over the Big 12 champ... Notre dame may go undefeated, i dont see a loss on their schedule... Michigan will finally beat Ohio State.. Pac-12 is out just like the Big 12 (Texas loses again to WV).... SEC has a %50 chance to get two teams in..

Rarely do teams go undefeated in 12 or 13 games. Maybe 1 or 2 each year. This year will be no different.

And each week, teams in the Top 10 lose.

In fact, I would say that 3 of the 4 current unbeaten teams will drop a game before this season is over.

Our remaining schedule is still more difficult than all of the teams ahead of us in the Top 4.

Agree. Not sure we’ll even be favored.
