Seems to me it was pretty big. we really could have used him in Whisky and Auburn games. Gimore is ok, but TV is a disappointment, and Lawrence is coming along, but not there yet.

Not very at all. I mean, he would have added some depth but LaCouture was never an impact player or anything. They were trying to find a role for him in this defense and moved him away from NT to DE because they felt like he couldnt handle NT. I dont think he's even starting if he's healthy, certainly not in front of Neal or Godchaux.

Lol we still have like 8 guys playing on the D Line not counting the two we moved to OLB

Lac would have helped but our D Line has stayed fresh all year.

It certainly didn't help. I'm hoping he returns next year. Anybody have any insight on his plans?

You can never have enough quality experienced DL depth.

We'll get a better idea of the impact from his loss as we close out the season with this 5 game gauntlet.

I saw him next to Pete helping out with the DL. Great asset and he will be back next year to add depth. All the up!!

I do think LSU misses Loc. Played as a true freshman over three higher rated DLs that red shirted and then Loc started two years. Anyway, the Tigers have had time to adjust. I hope he comes back next year because LSU will be thin again on experienced DLs.

Looked like LaCouture was sitting on the sideline with coach Jenkins during the USM game giving input to the DL.

Another goddamned race baiter.

Yeah, losing an experienced lineman who can beef up the rotation wasn't much of a loss, eh..Einstein?

After studying anthropology and human nature all over the globe, I know that racism/tribalism is to be with us for a long time to come...I now just ignore the ignorant tards that engage in it...lol lol
Now to the point...Lacouture and Davon G. have had to play out of their natural position due to recruiting deficiencies on CLM's part..no true DTs...Lac. would have been a real plus at DE this year...I hope he comes back next year....yes, that one white guy! lol lol

Based on how he played late in the year last season, I don't think it was that huge of a loss. He was the lowest graded for run defense in 2015 of our starting line. Maybe that was K.Steele's fault and certainly he would have improved this season from last year, but I never saw him as an All-conference DT. He was solid, but not game changing. Kind of like Marlon Favorite or Charles Alexander.

Now that the offense can actually sustain some drives and keep the defense off the field it's not as big. We needed a 16 deep rotation it seemed like with all the 3 and outs we've had in the past couple of years. When your offense can control the TOP it really helps the defense stay fresh and that will be huge in the games we have coming up.
