I love that he snatched the ball when he got there and wasted no time. Showed aggression, hustle and heart.

That play should have never had happen if we had a first baseman instead of a butcher there. Morgan would have caught that ball. Jones needs to bat 400 to justify being there. He should just be a DH but that is Trav spot. We do have a problem there

When you hear coaches/scouts etc talk about a “heavy fastball”, what they mean is one that jumps about halfway to home and looks like it will knock the bat out of someone’s hands.
That was his throw yesterday… about halfway to home the ball jumped towards home plate.
All that to say… Milam has a nice arm, and I bet if he pitched in high school he got a lot of jam job ground balls.
