I’ve got tix and, hotel room for the Free Shoes vs. LSU game but I’m having second thoughts about making the trip to NOLA.
If someone is having a watch party I’d appreciate any info.
Thank you … Geaux Tigers

Drift Bar in the Heights is the official LSU watch bar this year in Houston. I believe it’s sponsored by LSU alumni.

Do I need to be an Alum or can I just roll in and, watch the game?

When did it change from Little Woodrows on Shepard?

Probably because the worst mayor in the U.S. is facilitating the violent crime rate and now if you’re out past 9:00 p.m. your putting yourself at great risk

Normally I go to the games with a friend of mine; who’s an alum, but he backed out b/c of some family stuff.

One of the main reasons was that Little Woodrows wouldn't allow anyone under 21 on the premises which irritated many alumni especially for the crawfish boil.

I honestly could care less about younguhs there for the game watch, but the crawfish boil is usually a family event & LW rule spoiled that and I'm sure hurt attendance.

You’d think a city with a metro population of 6 million only 4 hours from BR would have way more than just one place where alumni congregate for a game

Have you been to Drift? It’s not exactly a family bar.

I just stated one reason... I'm not going to Drift either as I live in Sugar Land and I'm not driving anywhere near the Heights at night anymore. Tired of traffic...

Shocking isn't it... the Houston chapter is very small considering the number of alumni living here.

The North Houston chapter usually has a couple of places in Tomball and The Woodlands to watch the game...

I’m in Dickinson, so I feel ya about driving to the Heights.
Probably easier to stay at home and, watch the game.

I hear you. I think it’s a poor choice because Drift already gets packed on Saturdays.
