Do we play Oklahoma as the last game of the year? I would love that game!

Texas
Oklahoma
LSU
Texas A&M
Arkansas
Missouri
Mississippi State
Ole Miss

Florida
Georgia
Tennessee
Alabama
Auburn
South Carolina
Vanderbilt
Kentucky

With our luck they would move Arkansas and one of the Mississippi Schools and it would end up being something like

LSU
Alabama
Auburn
Texas
Oklahoma
Ole Miss
Texas A&M
Missouri

Georgia
Florida
South Carolina
Tennessee
Miss State
Kentucky
Vanderbilt
Arkansas

You Megaconference geeks, Mills/Zooms,etc..are gonna kill the Golden Goose. In truth, it already has. It's been an unhealthy balance for a while now, somewhat in managed decline per se.

NCAA Sports, like most of society, is going down the toilet.

P!ss on Deloss Dodds & UT Board..also OU's Castiglione too. They had their chance long ago.

This is pennywise pound foolish.

the West without Auburn and Bama would be pretty weak.

It would be the winner of OU and LSU every year. OU would be happy with that alignment. Easier path

Like Saban to Texas? Or Urban to Texas? Yeah right. You guys are so full of shite. It's why you've completely destroyed 2 conferences in a little over two decades.

It would have to be pods of 4 that would match up each year with another pod probably in rotating two year matchups to get home and homes. That would allow you to have home and homes with every team every 6 years. Winners of the two "divisions" would play in a championship.

4 team pods

You play home and away within your pod - 6 games
4 games against another pod that rotates every 3 years - 4 games

2 out of conference games.

Rank the pod winners 1-4. 1 plays 4, 2 plays 3.

Two winners both get auto bids to CFP.

Might not be the worst thing in the world to have the UT financial muscle to balance out Alabama a bit.

I'm sure Saban had been in motion for several months as his wife shopped for houses in Austin, too.

You can blame Mack Brown for that debacle.

Bullcrap.

3 votes eliminate any addition. Texas A&M and Missouri will vote no to Texas.

Arkansas might be a toss up.

But on the flip side I think Oklahoma would have the votes to get in.

Texas effectively runs the Big 12 and can't divi up the money the conference makes equally and I don't see them saying, "well ok. Let's forget about that."

Texas has already screwed up two conferences.

the anti-gridder is right about one thing. The dollar bill will carry the day. May take longer than some think, but it's inevitable

Missouri will vote Texas in. Oklahoma will not separate from Texas, it's a package deal.

Don't get mad at the messenger, I'm not making the decisions.
