there was one MSU day game in TS some time in the late 90s, early 2000s, that was the most humid game I've ever attended. Don't know about hottest, but it was literally one big sauna. Rained quickly right before the game and then the sun came out and you coulda steamed crabs in the bleachers.

96 was an 11:30 game and it was hot for a little while, but it rained heavily for most of the game.

98 and 2000 were night games.

02 and 04 were both 11:30 games that were hot.

I honestly don't remember Tennessee 2005 being that hot, and I was stone cold sober all day.

Appalachian State on the other hand was miserable. I was sitting in the southeast corner in the shade most of the game, comfortable as hell, and my friends calls me over to the students section. So I go, and it literally feels like the 9th ring of hell.

No I was there, and I wasn't really feeling that hot. I remember sweating, naturally, but not being miserable.

My first game being part of the band. Climbing those stairs after pregame was slightly uncomfortable

I was also in the band at this time, and I never experienced a more miserably hot game. This was the only time I ever cramped up during a game during my 4 years in Tiger Band. I'm pretty sure we emptied all of our water coolers within the first quarter, and these coolers would usually last throughout the game.

It was pretty chilly and we got our asses kicked. 2003 maybe? The Chris Leak game.

Completely agree with this. UT '05 was a night game and I really don't remember it being that hot. Maybe it was because I was sober and hadn't been tailgating all day like most people though...

All I really remember about Appalachian State was miserably hot and the godforsaken HUMIDITY. And I was pledging that semester so I was wearing khaki pants and a button down with a tie, so that really didn't help either. I remember one of my buddies standing after sitting for a while during halftime and having a huge sweat stain on his arse

Truth, a hangover and that game did not mix well.

Mississippi State game back in the 90s. Blistering hot, then it rained buckets, then it got even fricking hotter.

you guys are too young.

there was a game in the early 90s w/ Curly as coach vs. Tex AM. People dropped like flies. Joe Dean begged TV after that to never schedule a game around the first week in Sept in TS.

Florida 2001 was cold. Our krewe had to stop in at the store and buy sweatshirts before going to the game.

Check my reply on the first page. But I still like to think I'm relatively young anyway.

Bunch of wimps. We didn't even have water coolers at games when I was in Tiger Band.

That's the way I remember it also. Cloudy and windy.

2004 Miss St

I drank too much Bacardi 151 and not enough water. Pure misery inbetween TDs. The last play I remember was Marcus Spears' pick-6 in the 2nd qtr.

96 was misserable because of rain, reminds me of the 1999 Florida game, that was worse because it rained even harder and we got our arse kicked 50 something - not alot
