How the hell do they know? His accent all these years could be fake. We are Louisiana folk. We make fun at ourselves. We are all grownup. We can take the jokes.

Where the hell are people coming up with this ? I listened to Kelly again at the basketball game and don't detect anything. There's real FEAR out there over our great hire.

If ya ain’t one of us ya at least got to pretend to be one of us cuz we do my like and are too small minded to accept different around here pawl. This is why we love us some orgeron, cuz he is one of us and doesn’t make us feel all uncomfortable with his yankee talk

I mean I get it from that point, but coaches usually use words like "we" and "our" because it's the whole team not just them. IDK. I didn't hate what he said. Probably just came out that way bc he is new & has not interacted much with the team yet.

I watched it live on TV and then in the video of day one the following day. Never occurred to me once.

I've studied this clip. Watched it at least 15 times.
The man does not sound Southern to me at all. If anything he sounds like a Dutch person trying to impersonate how he perceives an American should sound, but that's basically it.
Not sure why the National Media is crucifying him over this.

The new coach did not talk any different than he always speaks. He's a bit cocky, but, there's a fine line between cocky and confident.
The guy looks like he's a winner and doesn't accept losing as an option. What else would anyone want?

He had only done about 6,000 interviews that day, stands to reason his voice yelling into a mic in a rowdy pmac sounded different

The media already knows CBK doesn’t give a rip about what they think or say. He doesn’t play their games. Doesn’t have to. And for that they dislike him.
