Need to get a win at Mizzou today.

I've been through similar as a coach losing a strong 3B and it's not easy to fill that spot. It just causes all kinds of chaos until we get someone comfortable there. I used my #2 catcher there that year and that settled the position. Wonder if have a catcher who we can try there?

It’s not because of 3rd base they are losing - losing 4 straight falls directly on Beth Ball

Did winning 24 straight fall directly on Beth Ball?

Third base is part of the problem. I think pitching is a big part of the problem.

What's "Beth Ball?"

Define it for us.

I agree exactly, but it seems like it is all steam rolled since we lost Coffey at third base. Hence the use of the word chaos

Certainly was in the cold Friday night, but they were able to do it in the cold in Lexington.

Don't try and convince the village idiots. It's a waste of time. The blame the coach crowd are always the least educated on this site. Never provide substance, only criticism without rationale

They need Sanchez there to root them on. That’s why they’ve been losing.

Did Beth rob Gutierrez of a HR yesterday?

I saw that he was there... past the dugout. He's been at every game since conference started... at Kentucky, Texas, Ole Miss, at Missouri ... must be getting lots of frequent flyer miles. Those are nice to have.

Today…watching this team they swing out of zone far too much. One hitter swung 3-0 at a obvious ball and tapped out another hitter swings up 0-0 to hit into double play and yet another hitter swings at ball 4…very very undisciplined team no surprise though

Me? I haven't said a word either way about the coaching in several years. I'm not wasting my breath on how I feel about coaches anymore because it's up to one person to make evaluations.

If you know me, my earlier comment about a certain fan was sarcasm & my original post should tell you what I think may help. My question about moving Pleasants to 5 meant that I was perplexed by that move.

I hate to move the goalpost on Beth because I’ve complained for years about Dobson, but it’s disappointing we now dont have the pitching the complement our newfound hitting. If Heavener is legitimate and we can get a huge portal pitcher the team could be top 5 next season. If the new Louisville coach is what’s made the difference I feel like Dobson is obsolete and we should go hire a top pitching coach.

To #5 from #3??? Guess me not watching near as much anymore is causing me to miss some of this.

I want us to win every game & championships, but I'm just not into LSU softball like I used to be. Still have my season tickets in case I get that fire back...
