Blind loyalty to your favorite loses games. Going into next year there needs to be an open qb competition. May the best man actually win

We are in much better shape now than if we had any other quarterback including Myles running the show. BK knows what he’s doing.

That’s exactly what we had this past off-season. Why would this off-season be any different?

There is literally nothing in Brian Kelly’s past that makes these concerns necessary.

I disagree. O line found its stride the last 3-4 games. A passer could destroyed opposing defenses with the talent we have at WR/TE

no really

JD5 was a band aid.

time to rip it off.

as long as CBK does not pull a les miles and play favs, a RS FRESHIE will be the starter next year

i'm just spitballing here but a redshirt freshman that has no real playing time is going to unseat daniels who has 9 SEC games under his belt (if he stays at LSU)?

Not saying it can't happen, but I find that hard to believe that howard beating him out in practice will lead him to unseating him as the starting QB.

freshies play all over now. it is who is the best all around Qb.

JD5 has topped out. he has had 4 years as a starter.

we are severely limited with him. You want to lose stud WR recruits and have guys bail and transfer?

his experience is over rated as he has proven by his lack of passing ability.

JD will most likely win 10 games at QB under a new coaching staff and team. Can y’all just stfu? Burrow was worse in 2018 at times and look at how much he improved. And it was late in his college career too. I’m not saying he’s Burrow, but another year in a program can really help a quarterback a lot.

Not sure I agree. The team took a massive step backwards against the Aggies. Massive.

This is my fear about Kelly. He has won a lot of games with the offense he has, but it will not take him to championships in the SEC. He will have to become more prolific in his passing scheme or we will be that team that wins a lot but loses key games, ala Les Miles.

I do not agree, the team has hit a plateau. It started with Arkansas. Improvement is not a continuous upward trend, it comes and stops and bursts. Question is can this team take the next step forward to setup next year's team to make a legit run at a natty.

BK coming with playoff expansion is a really good sign for LSU.

Why would anyone think he is stubborn? Because what you thought should happen didn't? I can't imagine him not having an open QB competition.

Yeah, we are so severely limited with him that we beat Bama for the first time since 2010 with him (where he was named SEC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance) and we won the West and are headed to the SEC Championship. You sound retarded.

Daniels does have his limitations (which we are all aware of). But he also has skills that have proven to be effective in helping LSU to win the SEC West. LSU was picked to finish 5th in the West and they shocked everyone and are playing in the SEC Championship. So limited...

I can’t imagine an SEC team trying to win championships with lack of a qb that cannot read defenses or throw the ball downfield even when given time. It’s the elephant in the living room and needs to be addressed quickly

And yet, here we are, competing for an SEC Championship

We have a QB room with players that have different strengths and weaknesses. Pocket passer vs dual threat vs experienced & inexperienced. The process will be the same. How the rest of the offense looks may be the deciding factor…..again.

It is not as much the QB as it is the play calling. JD% had some issues but the play calling did not help.
