Because rankings don’t mean shite when the players themselves don’t pan out

Some of it is luck, yes

But his inability to create an elite dl and secondary is not acceptable

Things look much better this offseason so not screaming for the guy to be fired. But it’s time to shite or get off the pot in 2025

Getting down voted by salty people with no defense of it at all.
Beating a 2 loss team without their quarterback isn't what I would call "the best the SEC has to offer."

This is where I am with BK. He has to fix the defense. He has no excuses now. He has a supposed "dream team" staff on that side of the ball now. He's finally getting some players. Pickett is the first 5 star DB LSU has signed under BK. That's pretty inexcusable but that's why he brought Corey Raymond back. The DL haul the last few years has been impressive. We still need safeties.

Until all of that if fixed I will remain on the fence about BK.

Is there a good reason for all these negative posts?

Statistics say different. He’s recruited higher ranked classes on average than Ed O did.

It’s like you people don’t think that the stupid shite you post isn’t easily fact checked.

There’s a lot of salty people here that have no idea what they’re talking about. Given what BK inherited he’s done remarkable. Also the money cupboard was bare AF after the Orgeron sex scandals, legal settlements, his buyout and sanctions. We’re just now getting back to even.

If he is watching it, he probably is enjoying it. You think he wants them to lose? He spent over a decade there.

Well, ND is doing more with less right now under Freeman

Is he really? ND had the #6 recruiting class in 2022 and LSU wasn’t in the top 10(#12). 2023 both were top 10 in recruiting. 2024 LSU wasn’t #7 and ND was #11.

Kelly left Notre Dame as a 1 loss team that was ranked #5 at the end of the regular season.

Freeman had Notre Dame as a 1 loss team that was ranked #5 at the end of the regular season.

He made some God awful hires in which it took awhile to can them

Took a while to can them? This is revisionist history based on how the 2023 season played out.

House was a Broyles award semifinalist in 2022 and was viewed as a top 5 defensive coordinator heading into the 2023 season. A lot of fans were even worried House would be poached away for a better job.

The 2023 defense went off the rails and Kelly fired House as soon as it was evident it wasn't going to work out.

He left them in a lot better shape that O left LSU. I believe he gad a really great class coming in that year and managed to keep them by hiring Freeman. He is a good coach that also speaks well of Kelly for hiring him. Only bad hire he made was our first defensive coordinator. That has hurt us and still is.

ND has been extremely lucky this year. The best team they have face before Georgia has been Indiana. And they het Georgia without their QB.

While this is true, the excuse before this was notre dame played a worse schedule than lsu. The sos was very similar.

BK's teams reflect him. Soft as baby shite. It's remarkable to watch this version of ND and how much tougher and more physical they are.

This is usually true.
