Will be here Tuesday-Sunday like every year since the early nineties. Best tournament in the country.

Those with experience, with these late games to start the week you think it would be any issue to pitch a tent at the back corner of the 1st base parking lot for shut eye the first two nights? I don’t wanna drive back to Calera or Helena after these late games just to get back up in a few hours and drive to work in Homewood.

May be a little hot, but I don’t see why not. You can use the newly opened splash pad to shower.

Scuba, do you stay even after LSU is eliminated? If so, you're a true fan of baseball, not just LSU baseball.

Yes, I always stay through the championship game. I've seen many memorable players and plays through the years as well as met a few good fans from other teams. I look forward to renewing acquaintances with them every year.

This is my favorite sporting event that I look forward to every year. Makes for long days looking at the clock at work until I can leave.

Left the office to do a quick recon of the met this afternoon. My verdict... It's HOT! Plenty of State fans have showed up this year.

They were there last year, too, when LSU sent them home on the first day of the tournament...

Maybe that's why I don't remember many of them. I didn't even think to bring my tent shell to work with me today. Most of the good greens have tent shells up already.

State always has the second largest fan turnout in Hoover. However, last year on Sunday, Ole Miss had more fans than any single school I have ever seen in Hoover.

Truth.. we were set up on the first baseline in the grass at the front of the parking lot. Ole Miss fans came in droves.

Bless their hearts. They just knew after winning the SEC West and the SEC Tournament and being awarded a national seed, they were finally on their way to Omaha!

Only to be eliminated by college baseball national powerhouse Tennessee Tech in the Oxford regional.
