Ryan Clark should have kept his mouth shut. he divided the locker room with his BLM crap.

I want Pelini gone as much as the next guy, but this is bullshite.

This is also where the whole BLM dust-up over the Summer comes in. Players not particularly enamored with the new defense being put in (by a vastly different [and visibly whiter] coach) were much more likely to recoil and rebel.

IMO I think a coach should have kept his political opinion to himself. It’s a polarizing issue. I didn’t see Saban or Dabo revealing their choice for president. It was a stupid thing to do. The fans may like it, but many of the players may not have.

The failure at this level goes all the way to the top. He can own it and he gets time to fix it, but if the players quit on you, any coach is done.

How much of this has to do with Ryan Clark and the political activism of the offseason

It is a factor, no doubt.

It’s a huge issue w this roster. We can only hope the ilk gets runoff before next year.

IMO the politics and social justice advocacy fractured the locker room. Not just Clark. The margin for error in the SEC for a team with 17 new starters is very very small. Getting beat in every phase of the game.

There were some IG messages from players earlier in the summer asking racists to unfollow them.

silly me, I thought they were there to eat, breath and sleep getting an education. As far as U cab tell, there is still a 'university' at the end of LSU.

The linebackers are the weakest link on defense. Pelini is the linebackers coach. The defense looks awful, Pelini is the dc. Ryan Clark is not the issue.

Well why do you think we had so many opt outs? Was it just a coincidence it happened right after o said he loves trump?

Another MAGA snowflake with a persecution complex.

It's all the black people's fault. And yet YOU are probably one of the ones who think MUH THEY'RE THE REAL RACISTS.

You probably don't even point a finger at all at O and his God Complex, endless personality interviews, and sexing up half the Cougars within a 50 mile radius of BR.

What exactly has Ryan Clark "given back to the University"? Isn't he being given a scholarship to study at a good university?

We lost 19 starters:

Joe Burrow - NFL Rookie of the year
Clyde - NFL rookie of the year runner-up
Jetts - NFL rookie of the year candidate
Chase - Future NFL All Star
Moss - Record setter at LSU
Saahdiq - Started a game in the NFL before injury
MaGee
Cush - Day one starter in the NFL
Damien Lewis - Kicking the piss out of NFL linemen

Rashard Lawrence - Made NFL Roster
Tyler Shelvin - Sitting out; expected top two rounds in NFL draft
K'Lavon Chaisson - First round NFL draft choice
Patrick Queen - First rounder; AFC defensive player of the week!
Jacob Phillips - Made NFL roster
Grant Delpit - NFL Injured reserve; 2nd round draft choice
Kristian Fulton - Kicked arse in NFL before injury

Why do you continue to look for other reasons? Let me ask this; what do you think caused Abe Lincoln's death?

You need to educate yourself on what the average day is like for players who attend major programs like LSU. Why do you think a huge majority major in areas such as Communications or Parks and Recreation?

I don’t know what your talking about but I just think it was a strategical mistake to publicly comment at all on such a contentious figure. You are assured to piss someone off.
