You have a two run lead in the 9th ; a runner going to third means nothing ! 100x out of 100 you try and turn that double play and get some outs !

They went out there too comfortable. They were already thinking about the “if necessary” game and so Tigers made that shite not necessary.

Was not on the throw. Curiel beats the throw easily. Play was lost when the 1B went to get the ball instead of covering 1st. 2B ball all day.

Yep I really thought the pitcher was gonna stay away on him and walk. Lots of things being thought differently now

Thank you for compiling this list. The pitchers and hitters were all doing excellent on both sides. In the final 2 innings the defenses were feeling the pressure.

This was another head scratcher. First was open so I really thought they were going to walk him.

Arky had 9 possums out there laying over and playing dead. And it worked out well for us.

3. Left fielder tried to make a spectacular play and was unable to. The alternative was to let it bounce in front of him.

4. That ball was smoked. This is a game of inches. We saw multiple examples of that last night.

2. The potential double play was an oh $&@t moment.

Then they’d have a righty pitching to lefty Jake who’s been money all week. They made the right decision. Bear just kept his eye on the breaking ball and made enough contact to get it over 2b.

Incorrect, Pearson was up next. Brown was in for Stanfield.

Was the left fielder charged with an error?

Hell, the 3B may have been able to throw him out on that play

That was my thought when I saw the replay. Probably smart on him to not try it and risk a bigger mistake, but I think there might have been a chance.

I'm no baseballer, but I know I've seen SS make that play seem very routine, and not just a handful of them.
