Senior night is always the last home game of the season

Where is the Miami game being played? It's too blurry on my phone I can't make it out

To be the best, we gotta beat the best! Honestly though, if we have a strong off-season and this young team continues to gel, there is no reason we cant compete with all of those teams.

My way too early absolutely meaningless projection. Start off 2-2 while we work out some kinks at the QB and RB position. Then we roll in October.
9-3
Miami L
Southeastern W
Auburn L
Tech W
Ole Miss W
Florida W
Georgia W
Miss State W
Bama L
Arkansas W
Rice W
A&M W

Also, isn't the Miami game Sept 2? Thought they moved it to Sunday night, I might be wrong though.

If that is legit, that is a very tough schedule.

I like a schedule like that. It's much more fun having big games, instead of pumping out a schedule like Wisconsin who plays Little Sisters of the Poor and Alaska Tech.

Yeah I said 8-4. We've gone under the O/U for a few years now so I think 8 is a good O/U for Vegas next year

We could play well and still easily be 3-2 in September, then face that murderous late October/early November. If O gets through this with less than three losses, they ought to go ahead and build the statue.

So the 2017 season was understandable due to being so young and lacking depth ...and well , the team is better now than when losing to state by 30 and Troy at home for homecoming ( completely disregard the SOS). Oh yes , 9 wins and bowl is a success !!!
2018- oh my!!! Look at that schedule !!!! ( even though Miami is not yet established as anything more than a one year wonder and Georgia just got smoked by auburn ) man, we will be lucky to win 8 games!!! ( which has happened only once in the last decade and a half).
Not too mention the starters LSU loses off this team will once again allow the “LSU is young “ excuse to take hold as the prevailing excuse. Odd to be losing so much talent off of such a young young team, but I’ve been told LSU has had the severe disadvantage of breaking in an entirely new team all year. I guess next year , LSU finds itself in a similar situation....
Question - when is LSU EXPECTED to be in the SEC championship hunt again?
Tell me, when will you folks will be prepared to say that LSU is EXPECTED to win and compete for titles?

Wish Miami was at home.
What a home schedule that would be. Talk about a good time.

Even though we played them in Tiger Stadium less than a year ago?

ole miss ain't gonna be a pushover either with Ta'amu at QB.
Where's Patterson going?
Also.. Will Stidham still be around? It seems like Auburn will be replacing a lot.
Georgia will be a tough game.
Not sold on Miami yet.
I think we can start of 3-1. If we can manage to split Bama and Georgia it will be a hell of a season. Need to do well next year with the importance of the fantastic recruiting prospects for 2019 looking on. If we botch next season it will set LSU back a long long time.

So I guess we can start the "next year (2019) is our year" mantra already?

You should be.
They are talented and well-coached and getting better in each category next year.

I think you're projecting the current teams into next year.
Not sold on Miami for next year. Especially fresh out the gates in hostile SEC territory. They'll also have an entirely different OL next year as well.
Auburn is also losing their OL and possibly their RBs.
