She was a guest speaker at a recent conference I attended and she was impressive. She has been in love with college football since 5 years old. When she developed cancer she was covering 8 sports. During and after cancer she had to strp back to 4 sports. She said college football was her 1st love and this is her 31st straight year covering. She still does WNBA, Women's college basketball and college softball.

I stand corrected. I thought she had breast cancer. Desmoplastic melanoma absolutely sucks. She was diagnosed right at the time when immunotherapy was just coming out. It was just by infusion then. Holly is the bomb. She’s been through more than many of us, me included.

Bro, she’s 60. Has beaten cancer, recently lost her mom, and works her arse off reporting. She actually knows her stuff. Most of these sideline reporters that are around for 5 years because they look good in their late 20s but can’t report for shite.

I've always had a bias against female reporters in football. She's one that I've always liked. I remember Desmond Howard saying before the games the guys would be studying and Erin Andrews would be checking her Twitter account discussing how many followers she had.
