UCF's AD would be a great hire of LSU. A good friend of mine played Tennis and UCF and speaks very highly of him. They don't want to lose him but it will happen eventually...Hopefully we time it right

I do too. But unfortunately it's never going to happen.

How about a young, up and coming AD with a spine to replace Alleva

I’m sure the progressive leadership at LSU will go this route.

I wouldn’t say never, but I don’t think Scott would ever work for FKA. I believe he loves LSU, but he hates incompetent leadership more. Get rid of Alexander and Woodward would probably be very interested.

Woodward seems like too smart of a guy to step into the political dysfunction here. Can't blame him.

He's pretty great. Y'all should go for it and hire him.

Stick a neck tie on a traffic cone and you've got a better candidate than Joe Alleva.

Alabama did it.

Dude's got balls, I give him that. Which would be the polar opposite of Alleva.

Which is why LSU will never hire him.

We were not paying $6 million. Les was making somewhere around $3.5 million, iirc.

A squirrel captured on the LSU campus would be a better AD than the one we have. The bar is low.

Danny White's family business is college athletics. His father is one of the longest tenured and successful AD's around, he's got one brother who is the HC at Florida (hoops) and two other brothers who have high ranking positions in P5 athletic departments. He's going to grab a big job in the coming years, and more than likely do very well with it.

With our fan base and expectations, I’m not sure those excuses would be acceptable.

But we hired O. Our AD already took a risk. By the end of this, our pool might not be as big.

And the game still has to be played. It's not a forgone conclusion LSU wins.

But he'd probably fail Alexander's top requirement for AD- being a "yes man".

t was solely Alleva’s fault not hiring Jimbo and Herman?? You really beleive that?

have you looked at Alleva’s track record for hiring football coaches?

Carl Franks (played at Duke, one of them, never been a HC)
Ted Roof (interim coach in his 2nd season on staff, given full time gig)
Ed Orgeron (interim, given full time gig)
