Dear Mr Woodward,
Hugh Freeze is the hire. Please make every effort to make this happen. America loves a redemption story. Enough time has passed and Coach Freeze deserves a second chance.
He will have LSU in the hunt for Championships year in and year out. He will get a shot at an SEC job. Why not us?
I know from personal experience that he would take the job. Come let this man make us the terror of the conference.

Also he’d run a power spread offense that sets the tone with the run and takes what the defense gives them when the passing game opens up. His team plays like a bunch of dogs too.

This isn't happening. If LSU were to hire Freeze, it would a PR nightmare. They're already in hot water with Title IX issues and the Miles' debacle. No chance they bring in a coach that got popped for recruiting violations and alleged involvement with escorts. It would going from one PR nightmare to an even bigger one. There are coaches out there with far less baggage that are just as qualified.

This isn’t happening. Unless it is as an OC, Freeze will not be allowed by the SEC office to coach anytime soon. It is pretty simple. Remember that all coaching hires must be vetted by the SEC Office. They will want him to show that he has changed even with the Ole Miss situation behind him.
Of course, NIL may make a difference today versus when it was just whores and bags of cash. Well the bags of cash to the tune of 7-10K / month for a 5* exists at certain schools that we know. This is from a respected Ga High School Coach in their highest classification.

I am all for this.
Screw PR, screw title IX - I want to see a quality product on the field and Freeze is a quality coach.
Have to block out the noise and focus on football. Embrace the bad guy role.

Sankey gave his blessing last year. There was not a job on the table that he remotely had interest in aside from Tennessee. Tennessee didn't hire him bc they are stupid. The SEC office will not interfere with LSU hiring Freeze.

Freeze would be my first call. We need to find an offensive tactician this time and he's the best available, better than Kiffin. Or we can go cheap and easy again, and watch Freeze go to an SEC rival while our offense continues to plod along in the 19th century.

Title IX and LSU cares. The impermissible benefits were tied to whoring out women. That crosses into misuse of women for personal gain. It wouldn’t be very smart of anyone in leadership to make that hire with that dark cloud. Everything is under a microscope in LSUs case.

Bingo...someone is getting him. It may as well be us. He is by far the best offensive mind in the game, and he loves to do it with a power run game attached. Many don't know this, but Saban had Hugh come in and consult when they transitioned to what they see today. He did it while he was on his hiatus. He is the guy that can come in and immediately have us in the championship convo ever single year.
